The nameless Green Goo found in the middle of Lanaryu Temple is one such adversary. It looks like your average enemy when you waltz into the boss💜 arena, but it turns out you need a very specifi💃c strategy to take it down. Here’s how to get it done.
Lanayru Temple Green Goo Fight Overview
You will encounter the Green Goo during the natural midpoint of Lanayru Temple, and you’ll need to defeat it in order to progress. So buckle up and get ready to fight back. The boss will begin by hopping out of a heated spring at the back of the arena, which should be your initial clue about how to take him💞 down.
The Green Goo has a variety of attacks, most of which are relatively easy to avoid. He jumps into the air constantly, going out of sight before his shadow appears on the ground. Move out of the way to avoid this, and be wary of the deluge of rocks that accompany him. Its final and most deadly attack is a stream of scorching hot water from its𝔉 mouth that can kill any echoes and deal decent damage to Zelda.
How To Defeat The Lanayru Temple Green Goo
As Zelda enters the arena and the door locks behind her, Green Goo will immediately jump into the air and prepare for its first attack. Counter this by avoiding his shadow and bringing out a Freezard echo.
Zelda’s swordfighter form is once again the most effective means of dealing damage in this fight, or echoes with a wide reach that can hit multiple ta🅺rgets at once.
Green Goo thrives on heat, and you will need to keep on freezing it to deal damage before it splits into smaller and more numerous copies of itself. You will only have a few seconds until the freezing condition subsides, so t♓ry to deal as much dam⛎age as quickly as possible.
Now you will have two goos to deal with, and then four, and then a total of six. The final two are much smaller and take fewer attacks to dispatch, but that means freezing them is also a nuisance. Try to have two Freezard or similar ice elemental summons presen♛t at all times.
Your only road to victory is to keep on wiping out the myriad goo creatures, which can be a bit difficult when so many of them occupy the battlefield at once. Make use of Zelda’s spin move to avoid unwanted attacks, while smoothies that make you resistant to Fire and Ice can also come in ha𝓰ndy here.
Rewards For The Lanayru Temple Green Goo
Zilch. Zero. Nada. The Lanayru Temple Green Goo is sadly a mandatory boss in t𒈔he dungeon and not the fin♋al one either, so the only reward is being able to progress.
