When Season 2 does kick off, it'll do so just over two years since Season 1 aired i🌱ts finale in March 2023. At the time of writing, a locked-down premiere date had not been rev🌳ealed.

Sony's Entertainment Pursuits Come Into Focus
Beyond the latest teaser for The Last of Us Season 2 and a premiere month, Sony also had several other marquee announcements up its sleeve. Chief among the announcements was the fact t🉐hat Helldivers would be turned into a movie with help from Sony Pictures.
Elsewhere, Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima will be receiving a dedicated anime via Crunchyroll and Aniplex. Based on the imagery shown, it'll hone in on the Le⭕gends mode and not the main story.
Finally, Horizon Zero Dawn will now be a feature-length movie from Columbia Pictures and PlayStation Productions. Previously, Horizon had 🉐its TV adaptation canceled, with the status o🀅f future projects seemingly in the air. That appears to be no longer the case.
In other words, it looks like Sony has its hands full, with a slate of upcoming adaptations to go along with its already in-the-works projects. And given t✤he success experienced so far with its endeavors, 🐎no one could blame them for taking on more projects.
