Sega's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The House Of The Dead series is one of the most well-known zombie horrorfests in video game history. Over the course of more than twenty years, the series launched multiple sequels, a movie trilogy, and even a typing game spin-off. So, it makes sense for this nineties gaming juggernaut tꦫo get the r🐽emake treatment.
Fortunately, players new to the series and veterans alike will get the opportunity to revisit Curien Mansion in The House Of The Dead: Remake. It takes guts to enter Curien's mysterious laboratory but skills to make it out alive. Luckily, our secret agents over at TheGamer have you covered with some tips and tricks for playing through the campaign.
You Can Move Your Crosshair And Fire At The Same Time
This tip is more specific for traditional controller users. After all, aiming and firing aꦏ joy-con is more intuitive than shooting with a thumbstick and shoulder trigger.
One common bad habit we fell into while playing without a gyroscope was aiming first and then shooting second, rather than doing both simultaneously. This mistake makes sense since doing both can feel like patting your head and rubbing your belly concurrently. It's not impossible to do, but it takes some thought.
Still, the more you practi﷽ce moving your crosshair with your target and firing, the more damage you can implement quickly. A quick-moving aim is conducive in this game, where enemies are constantly moving fast.
Granted, it is best to keep your crosshair still in some cases. For instance, if you have an opponent that moves predictably, like some of the game's bosses, it makes more sense to wait for them to come to you. After all, trying to follow them in this scenario will leave you vulnerable to damage.
So, overall, we give you this advice with a grain of salt. Of course, knowing when to follow a target and when to wait is a strong skill to have. Still, if you're playing with a normal controller setup, get in the habit of using your thumbstick and fire buttons in unison. Doing so, we'll make you a stronger player in the long run.
Shoot Projectiles To Deflect Them Away From You
While some zombies in HOTD: Re are traditional blood-thirsty flesh piles, others are more sophisticated. For instance, creatures like Drake, Moody, and Harris all handle projectiles they'll throw at you. Th𓂃ese weapon attacks are very harmful and will kn🎐ock down your health quickly if neglected.
Unfortunately, since HOTD: Re is a rail shooter, you cannot move your agent's position. So, dodging is out of the question. The only thing in your control is your pistol a🐼nd crosshair.
So, suppose a weapon comes flying your way. In this case, what can you do to prevent damage? The solution is to shoot the projectile. Doing so will knock theཧ projectile back and protect you from damage.
Zombies will throw projectiles back at you if they are still undead and armed. So, stꦬay alert and anticipate the possibility of having to de💝flect a projectile more than once.
Shoot Background Objects For Extra Points
Like any arcade game, HOTD: Re challenges you to play through the campaign multiple times to rack up as high a score as possible. However, racking up points is essential for other reasons rather than clout. For instance, passing certain point thresholds reveal different endings. Furthermore, after using all your continue tokens, you'll have to pay in points to stay alive.
Achievement Alert!
Normal Ending: Finish the game ⛦with the f🌊inal score below 62,000 and the last score digit not equal to zero.
True Ending: Complete 🦄the game with a total score of over 62,0𒐪00.
Third Ending: Finish the game wit🅺h the final score below 62,000 and the l🍃ast score digit equal to zero.
Ender: Discover all three endings.
Of course, you'll earn points by shooting down zombies as quickly as possible. However, did you know there are point bonuses available throughout the game?
Most vases, boxes, and other breakables have hidden items inside. Sometimes these items are game-changers like extra first aid kits. However, you'll also occasionally reveal shiny gold objects. These objects, suchꦗ as gold coins and golden frogs,💎 provide point bonuses when you shoot them.
Therefore, whenever you see something shiny after breaking a box, shoot it to earn those sweet points✱!
Every Creature Has A Weak Spot You Can Exploit
If you're a zombie flick fanatic, you may be familiar with the conceit that shooting a zombie in the head will make them dead. However, in HOTD: Re, this trope is not always true. Indeed, it's possible to shoot a zombie in the head and still get attacked by it.
Additionally, killing zombies faster rewards more points (Modern Scoring only) and can rescue scientists💛 in a pinch. Therefore, a quick and effect🌃ive kill is essential in HOTD: Re.
So, how can you kill zombies as efficiently as possible? Every zombie has weak spots to shoot to take them down faster. Many of their weak spots are in the head. However, there are plenty of zomb🌳ies with weak spots in their chests, stomachs, or arms.
Luckily, after defeating a creature once, they'll get added to the Creature Library, wh💝ere you can look up their weak spots for future playthroughs.
Tracking weak spots is especially helpful for boss battles. Thankfully, the game will display weak spots before each boss battle, so you won't need to visit the Creature Library to learn them.
Rescued Scientists Often Provide First Aid Kits
At the beginning of your HOTD: Re playthrough, a dying scientist will give you a photo of his colleagues, pleading that you save those trapped in the mansion. You'll find these scientists in each chapter getting terrorized by zombies. But, if you can shoot down the zombies chasing them in time, you'll successfully rescue them.
There are plenty of reasons why rescuing scientists is vital in HOTD: Re. For instance, you can gain achievements and access to more weapons if you save all the scientists. Furthermore, rescued scientists will often give you a first aid kit to thank you for saving them.
Achievement Alerts!
Hero: Save a scientist.
Saviour: Save all scientists through the campaign.
There are also some achievements you can earn by killing scientists. However, killing scientis𝓰ts will deplete your h🧔ealth, so use caution.
Murderer: Kill a scientist.
Psychopath: Kill all scientists at any chapter.
Check Out The Options Menu
Every video game has an options menu that customizes gameplay, audio, and visual elements. However, HOTD: Re's Options menu covers a lot of ground. In particular, the Controls and Gameplay p💛ages offer a lot of customization to heighten your experience.
For instance, you can use plenty of control variations while playing the game. Single Joy-Con Mode is excellent for replicating the light gun experience at home. However, you can also use gyroscope controls with a double joy-con set-up. Additionally, you can eliminate gyroscope controls if you wish to aim with a thumbstick or combine gyroscope and thumbstick control.
Additionally, the Gameplay options can make a more accessible zombie-shooting journey. Crosshair customization options include the ability to change the crosshair color, outline, opacity, and shadow. You can even set up an automatic reload function, preventing you from pressing the reload b𝐆utton every five seconds.
Another vital gameplay option, Performance Mode, lowers the graphical requirements to ensure more fluid gameplay. You'll likely get offered to turn this on before your first playthrough. We recommend turning Performance Mode on if you notice significant drops in framerate or choppiness while playing.
