A core component of every build in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The First Descendant is your character's reactor. This ღis a small piece of equipment that determines the base damage of your skills as well as your melee attack damage, otherwise known as sub damage. Getting a strong reactor is critical to min-maxing your damage in Hard mode.

Gley is the ultimate bossꦜ killer in The First Descendant. These builds will buff your damage, give you infinite ammo, and more.

Farming for 𝄹a good reactor is surprisingly easy if you know where to look. Today, we'll be showcasing how to farm reactors ꦐquickly and efficiently in Hard difficulty. We go over how target farming works, all the reactor affixes you can chase, and give some tips on how to quickly earn a strong reactor for your build.

Finding The Perfect Reactor

First Descendant Reactor Farming Menu

Before you start farming for reactors, you need to beat the main campaign. This will unlock Hard difficulty, which gives you access to target-farming strategies that are impossible to replicate in Normal mode. You'll also be abꦇle to earn Level 100 reactors in Hard mode. If you haven't gotten that far in the game yet, don't even worry about reactors. Use whichever reactor gives you the highest ability damage and ignore the rest.

After you beat the campaign, set the game's difficulty to Hard. You can do this from the map menu. Once set, press "F" on M&K or "Start" on controller to bring up a reward menu. This menu showcases every unique drop table in Hard mode, notably every unique combination of reactor yꦜou can farm fo⭕r this week.

Drop sources for reactors and external components rotate every Tuesday at 12:30 UTC. This does not apply to mission rewards or e🃏nemy drop tables.

Reactor Tags

Eac🔥h zone in the game will have a set reactor that drops throughout the week. These reactors are broken up into three subtypes:

  1. Element
  2. Ammo Type
  3. Skill Type

Element determines the reactor's base damage type. If a zone says it drops toxic reactors, then every reactor is going to benefit toxic Descendants. This has no bearing on affixes, however. Potential elements꧟ include electric, toxic, chill, fire, and non-attribute.

Ammo type refers to the reactor's weapon usage bonus🎐. For Ultimate Reactors, this will be a specific Ultimate weapon you're holding. The ammo type determines which Ultimate weapons🌟 can roll on the reactor. General only rolls General ammo weapons (such as Divine Punishment and Last Dagger), Special only rolls Special ammo weapons, etc.

Skill type is one of the 20% buffs you get for using a skill that matches the listed skill type. Every Descendant skill is tagged as dimensional, singular, fusion, or tech. This bonus only applies to skills with a matching tag. I💯f you get a singular skill and your character has a mix of singular and tech skills, then only the singular skills will see any benefit.

First Descendant Reactor Tag Example

You can filter for each tag at the top of the reward menu. Select any of the drop-down menus near the top of the UI and select💫 the exact element, ammo type, and skill type you're targeting. For example, if you were farming for a good Bunny rꦛeactor, you'd want an electric reactor tuned for singular skills. For an easier farm, you might opt for Impact ammo since it has a small pool of weapons to roll from.

As you can see, we can find that exact reactor type in Fallen Ark this week. Selecting the drop source will bring you straight to that location on the map. Every enemy in the zone has a high chance of dropping that exact reactor type; the modifiers you selected are set on those monsters. Affixe🌱s and the chosen 𝔍weapon are still random, but everything else is static. This makes farming for a perfect reactor quite easy, if a little tedious.

Reactor Affixes

First Descendant Reactor Example

Rare and Ultimate reactors always drop with two randomized affixes, both of which are listed on the bottom of the item's description. In the above example, our reactor rolled with more Skill Range and Toxic Skill Power. Affixes are entirely random and cannot be rerolled, uℱnlike weapons. If you're looking for a certain affix combination, you'll need to farꦚm for duplicates of the same reactor.

Good Reactor Affixes

  • Power Boost Ratio: This multiplies all of your skill damage by the listed value. Only a select few modules buff this stat, so anything that gives Skill Power is highly sought after.
  • Skill Cooldown: Lower cooldowns benefit every build. CDR is always a good choice.
  • Skill Range: It's the only way to bypass a Descendant's hard range limit currently. If a skill is locked at 200%, you can use this affix to hit 225%.

Reactor Farming Tips

the first descendant bunny
  • Check drop tables. You can pull up the Hard mode rewards menu ("F" or "Start") at anytime to see where reactors are dropping this week. Revisit this menu often.
  • Kill farms are the best source of reactors. You generally want to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:play as Bunny and farm Exterminate, Seizure, and Barrier Deactivation missions.
    • Void Fragments are also a good source of enemies if the area is small enough.
  • Rares aren't useless. Purple-rarity reactors are always active if you have the weapon class equipped. Gold-rarity reactors only activate their bonus if the Ultimate weapon is actively in your hands. The convenience of a Rare reactor might override the small damage loss of not using an Ultimate.
