You may not have the best impression of the Imperial Legion. At the start of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Skyrim, they were the ones who had sent you to your execution despite lacking any real reason to do so. It's not necessarily a huge issue, though. administrative mistakes can happen, and it's not really the fault of the Legion as a whole that you were nearly killed for no reason.
If you are willing to see past their fa🌳ults and acknowledge the fact that Skyrim exiting the Empire without a deal may be foolish, you may find that joining the Imperial Legion is preferab💯le to the rebels.
How To Join The Imperial Legion
There are two ways to get the prompt to join the Legion.
- Side with Hadvar in Unbound. He will suggest joining up with the Legion after you escape Helgen.
- Speaking to Imperial Soldiers patrolling Skyrim or at their camps.
This will add a Miscellaneous quest to Join the Imperial Legion with a quest marker leading to Castle Dour in Solitude.
You can still join the Legion even if you sided with Ralof in your escape.
At Castle Dour, you speak to General Tullius about joining the Legion. Impressed by your survival at Helgen, he asks you to report to Legate Rikke, the female commander by the war table. She'll arrange a test; remove the bandits living in Fort Hraggstad in the mountains west of Solitude to earn her approval.
Clear out Fort Hraggstad
The ability to clear out a fortress solo is, undoubtedly, a valuable skill for any aspiring military recruit. Take the road west of Solitude and at the statue of Meridia, take a right, going north. At the split in the road, continue going west until you find the Fort.
The Fort itself is home to a large group of bandits. How you clear it is up to you, though with a lookout at the front gate, any direct approach will likely be noticed. While convenient, choosing to simply assault the Fort will be dangerous thanks to its design. The bandits will be able to attack you from all directions as soon as you reach the central courtyard. A stealthy approach would be much safer.
You can infiltrate Fort Hraggstad by entering through a hole in its northern wall by a collapsed tower.
In addition to the bandits patrolling the outer walls, you will need to enter the inside of the Fort to flush all of them out. You need to use the two entrances in the central courtyard to reach the two interior areas to wipe out the remaining bandits.
These interior areas have stronger bandits inside, making them a tougher fight.
With all the bandits slain, return to Legate Rikke at Castle Dour to formally join the Legion and receive your next instructions, participating in the mission to seize the Jagged Crown.
You will also have the opportunity to speak to Beirand, Solitude's Blacksmith✤ to receive a full set of armor. The specific set deಞpends on your preference.
