With the contract given and funds for the operation gained, the first stage in killing the Emperor is to find a way to lure him to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Skyrim. The murder of his cousin at her own wedding would be excellent bait. At Astrid's urging, you will be doing just that.
You will need to enter Solitude and attend the wedding of Vittoria Vici to slay her. As a public event, stealthily conducting this assassination will be difficult though a keen-eyed operative will be able to fi⭕nd the right opportunities. There will be a bonus awarded for killing her during the speech.
Starting Bound Until Death
Astrid sends you on this task right after you return from Riften with Delvin Mallory's Letter of Credit in hand. Explaining that this is part of a wider scheme to kill the Emperor, she tells you that there is a bonus for killing Vittoria mid-speech.
You can speak to the other assassins about the job. Notably, Gabriella and Babette. The former will identify a good position to snipe the bride from. The latter will tell you about a loose gargoyle that can be dropped on the bride.
You will have to reach the Temple of the Divines in Solitude where the wedding between Vittoria Vici and Asgeir Snow-Shod is being held. The event is open to the public and is easily joined.
You can speak to the guests to learn about their thoughts on the marriage, and you can give the couple your congratulations. You should be mindful that you will not have long to get ready for your assassination.
Killing Vittoria Vici
You will complete the quest by killing her at any point during her wedding. You could even stab her on sight if you are so inclined. That said, you will have to use more finesse if you aim to get the bonus and get away with murder.
You are free to approach this assassination in any way you see fit. Get creative. It could be something as mundane as leaving an explosive rune on the balcony to using illusion magic to make the groom kill her. You could even call a dragon to make a statement.
Vittoria will head for a balcony above her seat to deliver her speech shortly after you arrive. You should aim to kill her before she can complete her speech.
Dropping A Gargoyle
As Babette tells you, a gargoyle situated directly above the balcony has come loose with age. It would only need a light nudge to fall off. This method lets you make the kill from relative stealth and is unique to the event.
To reach it, take the stairs at Castle Dour to get on the city walls. Walking towards the wedding will get you in position. Make sure to sneak behind the gargoyle and wait for the speech to start. Once it begins, interact with it and bring the wedding to a crashing halt.
Sniping Vittoria
Gabriella had identified a spot opposite the balcony where a skilled marksman could kill Vittoria with a well-placed shot. You need only walk to the position and wait for Vittoria's speech to begin.
Gabriella will leave the unique bow Firiniel's End, arrows, and a Potion of True Shot at the ideal position.
Make sure to kill her before she completes her speech. If your Sneak skill is not particularly high, you may be discovered immediately.
Escaping Solitude
With the deed done, you will need to beat a hasty retreat. The angry guards and guests will prevent fast travel from the city, forcing you to leave Solitude to reach the Sanctuary.
You can loot Vittoria's corpse for her wedding clothes. They are unique items that cannot be found anywhere else. If you are unable to take them after the assassination, you can find them in the Hall of the Dead.
You will get some help from Veezara who will keep the crowd occupied. In the chaos, the Snow-Shods may turn violent and fight the guards. So long as you were not seen killing, you should be able to slip away while everyone is distracted. Otherwise, surrendering to a guard will clear your bounty witho🅘ut any further trouble.
When you return to the Sanctuary, Astrid will provide you with payment and teach you the power Spectral Assassin, if you earned the bonus.
Using the power will summon the Spectral Assassin once a day. Players who have completed Oblivion's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dark Brotherhood questline would recognize him as Lucien Lachance.
Not only is he a powerful ally, but he also does not count toward your total number of followers. He even comments on Skyrim and the Dark Brotherhood's quests.
There is no time for you to revel in the deed. You are given the quest Breaching Security and are told to look for Gabriella.
