Of course, that bit of news didn't stop a pair of fans from attempting to sue the company 📖for barring access to a prod༺uct they paid for in the form of the original The Crew. That said, things have been relatively♍ quiet on the offline m🔴odes until this week.

In an update shared to YouTube, it was reaffirmed that an "Offline" mode would be coming to The Crew 2, with playtests commencing next week for a number of playeꦚrs on PC.

Eventually, the mode will make its way to everyone before the end of the calendar year. Offline functionality for The Crew Motorfest is still apparently in the works, though not dated. Either way, the news had fans൲ calling on the company to develop offline modes for all of its o𒁏ther games.

Nobody Wants To Experience Another The Crew Situation

The comments section of the YouTube video is littered with fans asking for similar treatment to other titles that could also face a simil🌳a𝓀r situation if their servers were to be shutdown and game delisted.

"Do the same thing to Ghost Recon Breakpoint, too," one top com🌊ment reads. While the original Ghost Recon Wildlands can be played offline, the company was "not able to come up with a solution" for Breakpoint.

Another commenter petitioned that both The Division titles also receive som♛e sort of offline mode, as those also similarly require an online connection. Elsewhere, fans called o🧸n the company to find a way to bring back The Crew.

"Bring back the original The Crew. It had the best single-player content of all three," the comment read. Given that the ꦬgame is the subject of legal battles and has already been shutdown♒, it seems highly unlikely that it'll happen. Still, stranger things have occurred. Regardless, the comments go to show that Ubisoft still has a lot of work to do with several other titles.
