There have been plenty of creature collection-based games since the meteoric rise of Pokemon, but not every series has managed to make its mark in a marketplace dominated by Nintendo's adorable pocket monsters. Thankfully, that doesn't seem to be the case with Temtem. One factor that's helped the MMO maintain its popularity is the strength of its monster designs.
From the largest and most imposing Temtem to the cute-but-ferocious starters that you'll begin the game with, there are a ton of interesting beasts to track down in this MMORPG. Here are the Temtem that we thin꧂k stand out a💞mong the rest.
12 Ganki
There's something to be said for pure, unadulterated cuteness, and Ganki brings it in spades. Its bright and inviting smile is welcoming, and while it's clearly a bug, it's definitely more lovable than it is creepy. In fact, its vague insect-like attributes keep it from venturing too close to creepy-crawly territory while still showcasing its concept clearly.
11 Reval
Reval's evolved form, the ethereal Aohi, may have the additional blue wisps of flame to help its design stand out, but Reval's straightforward aesthetic works wonders for the tiny fox. Its determined expression gives it an adorably earnest personality, and the striking splashes of blue and red throughout its body add just enough variety to this tiny Mental-type Temtem's look.
10 Platimous
Any member of Platimous' evolutionary line could have made this list, but the final form of this aquatic duck Temtem truly stands out among the crowd.
While it isn't the first series to tackle the idea of a Water-type duck creature, it can be argued that Temtem's Platimous line executes the concept on the same level as the many duck Pokemon in existence.
9 Cerneaf
Speaking of Temtem that could easily serve as starters, Cerneaf and its evolutionary line deserve the same nod. The Nature-based deer Temtem has a confident and concise design that accomplishes exactly what it set out to. And while Cerneaf's pre-evolutions could certainly make wonderful starting companions, the line's final form would be just as appropriate next to the rarest and most celebrated creatures in the game as well.
8 Shuine
Shuine's design shouldn't work. The combination of colors and different elements that make up this Crystal/Water dragon Temtem would undoubtedly clash if each element was not carefully considered and balanced, resulting in something cohesive and cool.
The brightly colored dragon may not be everyone's cup of tea, but he's undoubtedly one of the most ambitiously designed Temtem around.
7 Gharunder
Gharunder is large, intimidating, and one of the coolest Temtem around. This large Toxic/Electric alligator has a strikingly colorful strip of green and yellow stripes down its back, large and dangerous fangs, and a hulking body that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:shows off its immense power. This beast is knowℱn as the "Monster of the S𝓰ewers" for a reason.
6 Nessla
Nessla checks off every aspect of a majestic Temtem design. It's elaborate and complex, but every element of this Water/Electric Temtem is balanced and complimentary, leading to a beautiful sea dragon-style creature. Even its seemingly contrasting elements are evident with one glance at its subtle-but-striking colors and sleek-but-sharp design.
5 Loatle
Most Digital Temtem tend to strike an imposing figure, and Loatle is one of the game's most unique designs by far. Equally terrifying and intriguing, it's glowing neon red eyes and inner shell give this Temtem an otherworldly feel, while its huge horns and large body frame show off its immense power.
The most startling feature of the beast, however, is the large stick protruding through it's center, which it occasionally removes in order to attack its enemies with.
4 Valiar
Temtem is onဣe of the most vibrant and colorful games around, so it truly speaks to the strength of a Temtem's design if it can stand out with more subtle colors.
Such is the case with Valiar, a creature with a more subdued design that helps to emphasize the strength of its silhouette. The large, distinct ears, flowing fur and intense eyes of Valiar make it one of the game's most impressive beasts.
3 Umishi
While Umishi's evolution, Ukama, is very well-designed in its own right, sometimes less is more. Umishi's adorably simplistic form makes it look both mysterious, precious, and dangerous all at once, which pretty much nails the aim of any good creature design.
Umishi are often referred to as "sea angels" in much of Temtem's lore, and it's easy to see why.
