9 Espio The Cha𒉰meleon
Another one of the most notable characters not included in the game is Espio. While he was introduced in the little-played Knuckle’s Chaotix, ever since he was reintrodu🦄ced in Sonic Heroes as a member of Team Chaotix, he’s been a series mainstay. While he is part of the Chaotix Det♛ective Agency, he’s more known for his ninja abilities such as turning invisible and using his kunai knives.
Since🍨 his role on Team Ch𝄹aotix was a speed-type member, he’d likely take on the same role in Team Cream as well.
8 Charmy🅘 The Bee
While the Team Chaotix leader Vector made it into the game, Charmy and Espio were dr𝓰opped in favor of Blaze and Silver. While it is understandable given the popularity of those two, it’s a shame since Charmy has been just as much of a series mainstay as Espio.
Scatterbrained and silly, the six-year-old Charmy is one of the most light-hearted members of Sonic’s friend group. Since he’s a bee, his moඣst well-known ability is flight. Other flying-type characters like Tails and Rogue are technique-types.☂ If they followed that convention, Charmy would be one as well as part of Team Cream.
7 ꦅ Classic𝓡 Sonic

If any character is to be added to the game, the most probable is Classic Sonic. Mostly becauseꦛ he’s already in the game. Just not the one most people are playing🐷 this month. As part of an October 2021 update, Classic Sonic joined the cast of the simplified mobile version of the game titled Sonic Racing. He races in a red car inspired by what he drove in Sonic Drift, the first Sonic racing game.
While there originally was no differentiation between Modern and Classic Sonic, since Sonic Generations he’s been treated as his own character. SEGA has also started treating specific characters as part of a Classic u𝔉niverse. Taking that into consideration, he could be the speed-type leader of a Classic Team of characters.
6 ও Mighty The Armadꦜillo
Outside his introduction in the SegaSonic the Hedgehog arcade game and Knuckles Chaotix, Mighty was absent from the franchise until his reintroduction in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sonic Mania Plus. Since then, he’s appearꩲed in shorts and has been a popular choice for merchandise.
Known for his hard shell that can make him invulnerable to spikes, he 🤡would be a power-type in the game that could be invincible to obstacles on the course. Since he is considered to be part of the Clas💙sic universe, he could be a member of a potential Classic Team.
5 ♕ 🎃 Ray The Flying Squirrel
While he was first seen in SegaSonic the Hedgehog alongside Mighty, he’s been even more truant in the series until he made his grand return to the franchise in Sonic Mania Plus. Ray the Flying Squirrel is now treated as Mighty’s sidekick and has the unique ability to glide up and down similar to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mario’s cape in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Mario World.
Because of this, Ray would be a technique-type who could gli🐷𝓰de over off-road sections of the track. He would follow his friend Mighty and be part of the Classic Team.
4 Tang🥃le The Lemur
While most likely unknown to fans who only play the games, Tangle the Lemur is wildly popular to fans of the IDW Sonic the Hedgehog comic books. Unlike many of the previous comic ch𓆏aracters, she’s been featured in official merchandise and is playable in the mobile game Sonic Forces: Speed Battle. So there’s a possibility she could be the first comic character to be playable in a console Sonic game.
She’s a fangirl for Sonic and all of his friends and joined his crew after he 𒆙helped her defend her town. Her special ability is to use her long tail to wrap up bad guys and fling herself into th𝐆e air. Given this, she could be a speed-type and a leader of a potential Team Tangle.
3 🤡 Whisper The Wolf 🌼
Similar to Tangle, Whisper the Wolf was recently established as a member of the Sonic canon in the IDW comics. She has a 💮mysterious past, a shy personality that contrasts with Tangle’s tenaciousness, and a collection of wisps she uses with her Wispon gun to fight Eggman and other foes.
Her wisps are aliens from another planet that can use their massive amount of energy to give people or objects special abilities and allow her to do many things. She can wield a flying umbrella, shoot lasers, and swing massive hammeꦏr. So it would be easy for her to fit into any category. However, her large variety of offensive attacks would make her an excellent power-type on Team Tangle.
2 Gemerl

Despite not being in the series since his only appearance in Sonic Advance 3, Gemerl has found a second life in the comics. While originally a creation and ally of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:mustachioed Dr. Eggman, he was reprogrammed by Taiꩵls to be kinder and leave his evil ways behind. He then is adopted by Cream and becomes her protector. However, that last part is only elaborated on in the comics, and he has not returned to the series outside a few small cameos.
While he has a variety of abilities, one of his main utilities is using a jetpack to fly. In addition to his frequent appearances💃 in the comics, he could be a technique-type on Team Tangle.
1 Infinite
After Shadow the Hedgehog defeated him and his team of mercenaries, Infinite agreed to Dr. Egg𓂃man powering him up with the mysterious Phantom Ruby, so he would never be weak again. It gave him flight, strength, and speed faster than Sonic. In addition, he was able to conjure illusions that could fight the player or even take them to alternateဣ realities.
Given his ultimate power, he could be every type or allow the player to choose which ty﷽pe they prefer. During the story, he made illusions of some of Sonic’s deadliest foes. So his team could reuse members of the existing cast in the game and include Zav🌜ok and Metal Sonic.
