How To Start The Temptation Quest

The first clue you have is to speak with Walter, who is a Kamelotian soldier and a big fan of the stolen books. He is located jus𒁃t outside th෴e shop.

When you speak to him, he will swear he didn’t take the books, but he will point you toward the direction of a priest who, ironically, might꧑ be the one who did it despite always being against these types of books.

How To Complete The Temptation Quest

When you go there, go inside the house and you will find the priest murmuring some random words.

However, DO NOT SPEAK TO HIM YET.

Instead, there are six books in his house tౠhat you will need to read before doing so. These books are:

• Vrell's Proof of Delivery, which is located just under the table to the left of the house.
• A Sermon on Purity and Temperance and A Clarification on Purity and Temperance, both located on the shelf just after the table on the left side.
• A Sermon on the Paths of Discipline, located to the right on some crates.
• A different version of A Sermon on the Paths of Discipline, located on the floor just to the right of the priest.
• A Sermon on Purity and Temperance, located in the bedroom on the right side of the house on the small table.

After you make sure to read all these books, now you can i🐬nteract with Brother Ismat.

During your conversation with Ismat, you must first push him to admit he has the stolen books. Then, you need to pick the correct dialogue options when multiple choices appear, or the quest will fail.

Here are all the dialogue options you must ಞselect:

• 'But what about: Yet it is not the act of the hand that condemns, but the heart that guides it astray.'
• 'Speaking on these matters, you seem to adopt an accusatory tone.'
• 'I think you allocate sanctity to the wrong things... but it is crucial to find holiness where it truly resides and, at the same time, discern where excessive zeal is unnecessary!'
• 'But is it really for you to judge? The same sermon says: Yet the Prophet's Judgment is not swift, but discerning and full of care and justice at the same time.'
• 'I believe that what people do with their own bodies is their own business.'
• 'I’ve met people falling into temptation with good hearts, doing lots of good things for others.'

If you chose all the correct responses and followed the steps precisely, you will successfully convince Brother Ismat to return the books. Now you can go back and report to Vrell.

You can tell Vrell about what really happened or just lie t🍎o her. This choice ♕does not matter. What matters is that she got her books back, and now the quest is complete.
