There are multiple quests scattered throughout Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, but not all of them will fall into your lap. Many require you to actively seek them out by exploring towns, talking to characters, and paying attention to your surroundings. Even when🀅 you do find a quest, you won’t always get a helpfuᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚl marker guiding you to the objective, sometimes, it’s up to you to piece things together and figure out where to go.

On top of all that, most quests 🌜won’t simply end when you reach you♉r goal. You’ll often face a choice that directly shapes how things play out. So you can see how quests here can be a bit more challenging than the usual ones but still add some depth to the game.

How To Start Stink And Burn Quest

The Stink and Burn is an interesting quest as it requires you to find a man hiding inside a barrel. This man, Lemuel, can be found inside his barrel hiding just south of Cuanacht, specifically just south of Derelict Amphitheater.

Here you will find a bridge, and just to the west of it, you will be able to spot the barrel near some cargo. Approach the barrel, and you will hear the man who isꦜ hiding i🐬nside speaking with you.

You will learn that he has been hiding for his whole life, and he is worried and hiding from a witch called Karla. This will begin the Stink and Burn quest, and your objective will be to find this witch.

You will have no marker or any info about anything related to her, which makes the finding process a bit difficult, but don’t 𒊎worry, this guide has you covered.

How To Find Witch Karla

Karla the witch can be found in a small camp that is located west of the Wyrd Tower, so make your way there. She will be inside one of the tents, sitting.

Approach and speak to her about Lemuel to learn what’s happening from her point of view and the truth behꦑind Lemuel.

Should You Side With Karla Or Lemuel?

If you choose the 'In that case, I'd like to help you' option, you will basically side with Karla. She will tell you that, as part of her revenge, she wants you to whisper a spell on Lemuel and then bring him to her.

When you agree, make your way to Lemuel's location and then you will have two choices, but they both end up with the same outcome, so you can either🐲 whisper the spell directly to him or confront him about the things he did to Karla🀅.

Either way, when you put the spell on him, he will be literally cursed to turn into a barrel, and then you will be able to 🍷take it back🐓 to Karla.

Once you do, she will be very pleased that she finally got the revenge she needed, and as an additional gift, you will get the Wand of Chain Lightning weapon.

Side With Lemuel

If you're still insisting on helping Lemuel in his quest, then simply pick the option to tell Karla to stay away from him, but she will disagree anyway, so you wil♓l have to resort to violence and dꦰefeat her.

Or, if you don’t care at all, simply attack her without even speaking to her and get things done quickly.

Make sure to l🌠oot her corpse and the camp before heading back to Lemuel.

After you kill Karla and her followers, simply head back to Lemuel, speak to him, and tell him that he has nothing to hide༺ from anymor🌟e.
