While the Dál Riata tribes in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon have mostly kept to themselves in recent years, avoiding the common issues of the Ava😼lonians, they still face 𒉰issues in the icy tundra of the Forlorn Swords. Part is due to themselves, and part is them becoming another victim of King Arthur's actions.

If you wish to aid the Úlfr, you'll need power⛦ beyond mortal hands.

One man, Gerf'hanr, wishes to unite the Dál Riata and march on Kamelot – or at the very least, unite them for everyone's sake – but this won't be done with problems left unsolved. It's up to you to reach out to the Volker Tribꦰe and help restore both the pride and cultural figure th🃏ey've lost.

How To Start Shattered Pride

Player character speaking to and being questioned by Angsvar for asking about the Moot in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon.

As part of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:main quest, Divided We Fall, you'll need to help all four Dál Riata tribes with their issues before they decide to join the Moot, including the Volker Tribe.

They have either three or four quests to complete, depending on your decisions: Shattered Pride, Follow Her Path, and The Forked𓄧෴ Path being the main three, and Thing On The Doorstep the potential fourth.

You can find the Volker Tribe Village on the eastern edge of the Forlorn Swords, and the quickest path to it is heading north from the Capital, where Gerv'hanr is, across the bridge above the lake, then taking the curving path east around the side of the mountain.

When you reach the village, speak to the guard to gain entry, and then go up the stairs. A man named Tyge will stop you, and you'll have to fight him to the death before you can go see the chieftain, Angsvar.

You can tell Angsvar about the fight with Tyge to begin the side quest, Condolences, which leads into another side quest from Tyge's wife, Helmi, When Gods Speak.

Talk to Angsvar inside his home near the altar at the top of the village, and once you convince him you'll help the Volker, he'll direct you to part of the village that's located on another mountain.

How To Reclaim The Old Volker Village

Player character using magic to fight a Dal Riata named Ylvren the Awakening in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon.

Head east from the village and follow the path until it splits off into four directions, then take the path going up the mountain. Soon you'll see spiked walls, and there's going to be a few Nameless Dal Riata to fight.

Kill them, then you can either take the left path for a less direct route that has more enemies and loot, including a named enemy called Scumrot, or the right path for a more direct route to the quest objective.

Make sure to loot their bodies for their armor and weapons, as they sell for a good amount of Gold, especially the Reflex Bows.

Cross the bridge to the next section of the old Volkner Tribe Village, and on the other side, you'll almost immediately enter into a large fight with several Bandits and Nameless Dal Riata, and the boss, Ylvren the Awakened.

Try to take out all the weaker enemies first, and keep running around the arena to avoid the boss's bear minion, as it can stun you like a normal bear with its leaping attack, and leave you vulnerable to the other enemies.

Once that group and Ylvren the Awakened are dead, the quest will progress, and you can return to Angsvar to tell him of your success, and now you can use the Elevator Pass nearby as a shortcut down.

Speak to Angsvar again, and you'll complete Shattered Pride, rewarding you with a massive 4,800 EXP, and it will unlock the next quest you need to do for the Volker: Follow Her Path.

How To Find The Matron's Insignia

Player character finding and taking the Matron's Insignia off of Frig's corpse in the Shrine Cellars in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon.

After talking to Angsvar, leave his home and head up the stairs, take the path around the altar, follow it through to a second altar with a totem on it, then go down the hill to the Máthair Temple at the back of the village.

Speak to Bridei inside for information, then go into your inventory and smoke the Etherbloom Pipe that he gives you so you can see🧸 trails hidden in 😼the Wyrd.

If you're using a Mage Build, Bridei sells several upgraded spells, such as Hailstorm, Stormpiercer, and Caustic Wrath, that are worth purchasing.

Leave the Máthair Temple, take the path heading south that you might've used to reach the village, and follow it across the ice bridge to the southeastern edge of the region.

When you reach the Crossroads fast travel point, keep going down the lower path, and follow it past the ruins to the Shrine Cellars. Go inside and take the path through the hole in the wall, and drop into the chamber with a Bottomless to fight.

Once it's dead, you'll find Frig's corpse against the tallest totem in the room, and you'll have to loot her to get the Matron's Insignia. This will complete Follow Her Steps and immediately start the next quest, The Forked Path.

Who Should You Show The Matron Insignia To First?

Player character speaking to Angsvar and being faced with two decisions on the tribe's path in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon.

Crawl through the small tunnel across from Frig's corpse for a shortcut back to the entrance, then return to the Volker Tribe Village. From here, you'll have a decision about whether to show the Matron's Insignia to Angsvar first, or show it to Bridei first instead.

While you can speak with Elspet before the Volker quests for context, there doesn't seem to be a way to prevent her death, even if you visit their house before starting any of the Volker's quests.

Showing it to Angsvar is required as part of The Forked Path, but you don't have to show it to Bridei, though doing so unlocks a second side quest, Thing On The Doorstep, a special recipe, and an alternate resolution to the quest.

Bringing The Insignia To Angsvar

Player character speaking to Neasa about Elspet and receiving Elspet's letter from her in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon.

If you bring the Matron's Insignia to Angsvar first, you'll unlock a third objective in The Forked Path and will need to investigate the cause of Elspet's death.

Due to a grammatical error, Neasa and Elspet's House is incorrectly labeled as Nessa and Inge's House, but Neasa will still be found inside.

Go to Nessa and Ingve's house in the southeastern corner of the village, next to Stigr's House, and speak to Neasa at the table to receive a key item for the quest, Elspet's Letter.

From here, you can either go ahead and show the letter to Angsvar, or you can also show the Matron Insignia to Bridei for his quest before you're locked out of it.

Bringing The Insignia To Bridei

Player character charging up a spell while fighting a Fore-Dweller Knight in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon.

If you bring the Matron's Insignia to Bridei at any time before you give Elspet's letter to Angsvar, you'll unlock a second side quest, Thing On The Doorstep, and can enter the true Máthair Temple via the doorway in the wall.

Inside, you'll fight a Fore-Dweller Knight after drinking from the basin, and it's essentially a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:weaker version of the Wyrdstalker that begins stalking you in Cuanacht. After it's dead, take some of the potion from the basin, and you'll return to the mortal realm.

Speak with Bridei again to learn some key information, and he'll give you three Máthairs' Battlerage Potions to give to Angsvar, as well as the recipe for it for yourself. This will also complete Thing On The Doorstep, which rewards you with around 4,500 EXP.

How To Complete The Forked Path

Angsvar promises the player character that he and the Volker will attend the Moot in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon.

Go back to Angsvar, speak with him, and show him Elspet's letter to reveal the truth of her death to him. During the conversation, you'll have one final decision that affects the Volker Tribe, but they will agree to join the Moot regardless of the decision involving their tribe's future.

While Helmi is also part of the side quest, When Gods Speak, you don't have to complete this quest to be able to suggest her as the next Matron.

Showing Angsvar The Insignia Without Bridei's Quest

Showing Angsvar The Insignia With Bridei's Quest

If you didn't complete Thing On The Doorstep with Bridei, your only successful option with Angsvar will be to suggest Helmi as the next Matron. Angsvar will then agree to join the Moot.

If you go to Bridei first and complete Thing On The Doorstep before showing Angsvar the Matron Insignia, you'll be able to successfully suggest they don't appoint any more Matrons, and can give him the potion Bridei mad𒆙e. Angsvar will also agree to join the 𝄹Moot.

After your decision and the conversation, The Forked Path will be finished, rewarding you with around 5,000 EXP, and you can either report the decision to Gerf'hanr and get King Arthur's Greaves as a reward for it, or continue helping the other tribes if you haven't already.
