Now that you've reached the Forlorn Swords region in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, you've reached not only the last resting place of King Arthur's crown but the home of the Dál Riata tribes. Just like the ✃people in the Horns of the South and Cuanacht, they too face struggles and strife.

For the Úlfr, they're caught between a rock and a hard place. Their chieftain has called upon the Giant's power against their will and without their blessing, and no o🌼ne has the power to take control away from him. Unless 🍰they're rid of Thrygve, the Úlfr won't be attending the Moot any time soon.

How To Help The Úlfr Tribe

Player character speaking to Stron'ner, an Ulfr tribe Blacksmith, about a potential Moot in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon.

For the Úlfr Tribe, their central quest is Rise The Mountain, Face The Storm. They're located on the southwestern side of the Forlorn Swords, due west of the Capital, where Gerf'hanr is, and as soon as you approach the entrance, you'll need to speak with the guard.

After talking to him, go inside, speak to Egill, then head up the stairs to the main area of the Úlfr Village, and go to the Forge of the Úlfr Tribe, which is found through the large doorway in the wall beneath the stairs and scaffolding leading higher up.

Speak to Stron'ner at the forge near the entrance, and he'll direct you to Darv'hanr, who's found in the Hall Of The Stonewardens at the home at the top of the staircase.

If you've completed the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:A Pebble In The Pit side quest and started the subsequent quest, Call Of The Wintermoon, you'll need to speak with Darv'hanr for them once you have the Stone Talisman as well.

Next, go back to Stron'ner and inquire about his wife, then go outside and back to the lift that originally took you to where the village was, and instead follow the path around to an area at the western edge of the Forlorn Swords.

Go inside the house by the cliff, unlock the door to the basement inside, and speak with Vigdis. Now, you'll need to find each of the Giants' resting places and bring them an offering.

The Gunnvaldr Giant's Blessing

The Gunnvaldr Giant is located in the destroyed Gunnvaldr Village near the center of Forlorn Swords, and the shrine is located close to the entrance where Vati and the fast travel point are.

Make sure to go ahead and clear out the Undead and Brimshades scattered around the village, as the Brimshade's mist will impair your vision and they'll interrupt the upco🌱ming trial otherwise.

Approach the shrine and select one animal component to sacrifice. It can be from any type of animal, monster or not, but anything from a creature like a Redcap or Marrowghast won't count. Some potential sacrifices you can use include:

  • Croakmaw Skin
  • Croakmaw Horns
  • Deer Pelt
  • Antler Fragments
  • Bear Pelt
  • Wolf Fangs
  • Wolf Pelt

While implied, you don't need to summon any additional allies, such as the Battlemage or Corpse Eater summons, to complete the trial, though it can be fun to do so as part of the narrative.

After the sacrifice, the Giant of Summoning will speak to you and prepare a trial. You'll have to fight against two icy Croakmaws, which are stronger than the normal variant and capable of inflicting the Frozen status effect. Once they're dead, you'll pass the Giant's trial and obtain the Gunnvaldr Giant's Blessing.

The Forgotten Giant's Blessing

Close up view of the western side of Forlorn Swords with an orange star edited onto the Forgotten Giant's location in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon.

The Forgotten Giant is located at the bottom of a canyon northeast of the Capital, and the best way to reach it is to start at the Capital, then head east of it, following the cliff wall until you find a cave called the Mine Pass.

Go inside and take the lift down to the bottom floor, then exit into the gorge, and follow the path left past a fast travel point, and into the Mountain Ice Cave.

If you take the small pathway adjacent to the exit of the Mine Pass, you can dig up a chest containing a two-handed greatsword called The Unstoppable, whichꦦ has high damage and restores 50 stamina when you kill an enem💖y.

Follow the path down to the central chamber, and there's going to be another Giant with a shrine in front of them. Like before, you'll need to sacrifice an animal component of some kind, either from a regular animal or a monster animal, such as a Deer Pelt or Croakmaw Skin.

Player character fighting a Gloomfrond and being hit by its root attack in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon.

Once you make the sacrifice, the Forgotten Giant will ask you to complete another trial. A Gloomfrond will spawn behind you, a boss enemy with powerful physical attacks, such as a charging move, a laser beam like the blind Marrowghasts, and summoning damaging roots.

After killing it, loot the body to obtain the requested items, and the Forgotten Giant will speak to you again, then give you the Forgotten Giant's blessing as a reward.

You can get into the room blocked by a wall of roots by crouching down and crawling through a hole just before the doorway, and inside you'll find a chest you can dig up.

The Theud Giant's Blessing

To get to the Theud Giant, you'll want to start at the Úlfr Village, then follow the path east from the fast travel point, around back towards the cliff edge where Vigdis is, but go past it this time, and keep going down until you reach the Elevator Pass.

Go through the short tunnel, take the lift down, and you can exit onto the beach area, which has a fast travel point. Cross the crumbling bridge, pray at the Croakmaw Shrine nearby if you have the available parts for an additional 50 points to your Encumbrance Limit, then follow the long path up the mountain.

On the bottom floor of the Elevator Pass, you can mine through two rock walls, one of which has a chest with regular loot behind it, and the other a chest you can dig up to get the Amulet of Inspiration.

A magic lift will take you the rest of the way up, and you'll reach the Theud Village, which you'll need to visit anyway as part of Divided We Fall, as the 𒊎168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Theud have their own quest to complete. Go to the southwestern corner of the village, and the Theud Giant will🦩 be at the top of the stai꧅rs.

This time, you'll only need to sacrifice a Rose, which can be found all over both Horn Of The South and Cuanacht, or purchased from merchants like Alwyn in Cuanacht, or Jann Heber in the Horns Of The South Keep.

Player character charging up Merlin's Thorns spell against a Beholder in a different realm in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon.

You'll be transported into a different realm and need to fight three enemies: two Beholders and the boss, an Ancient Beholder. All three of them do extremely high damage with their laser beams, especially the Ancient Beholder.

Kill the Beholders first, as they have much lower HP, and use the arena to your advantage, as you can hide behind the trees on the edge if you need to heal.

Once they're dead, focus on the Ancient Beholder, and watch out for the attack when it kneels. It will charge up a beam with very high damage, but you can avoid it by running around it.

After all three are dead, you'll receive the Theud Giant's Blessing, and you can return to Darv'hanr and tell him the good news.

During the conversation, you'll get the option to ask him to forge the weapon or to forge it yourself. Both options give the same weapon: the Giant's Grudge greatsword, which has no stat requirements, so any build can wield it.

How To Kill Thrygve

Player character fighting Thrygve and using the Giant's Grudge greatsword to block while the man swings in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon.

Head to the altar near the Ulfr Village, and you'll find Thrygve sitting on a throne against the pillars. Talk to him, and when you challenge him to combat, you'll be sent to a special realm.

You'll fight him one-on-one, and the only thing able to damage him is the Giant's Grudge. Overall, he can do a lot of damage, especially if he catches you on low stamina, but because of him wielding a two-handed weapon, he isn't fast.

Alternate between dodging and blocking his strikes, getting in Light and Heavy attacks as you can. At around half health, he will pause and drink a potion to restore 25 percent of his health, but he can be stunned out of it by attacking him when he tries, making him dodge.

If you aren't able to, just keep with the same strategy, paying close attention to your stamina to make sure you don't run out while close to him, and keep your health up with either potions or food itemꦍs.

Once he's nearly dead, the battle will end, and you'll have a decision to make: have either Stron'ner or Darv'hanr as the next Úlfr chieftain.

Consequences Of Selecting Stron'ner

Consequences Of Selecting Darv'hanr

If you select Stron'ner to lead the tribe, he will agree to go to the Moot, and you'l🦄l succeed in that step of Divided We F🉐all.

If you select Darv'hanr to lead the tribe, he will refuse to go to the Moot, and you'll be locked out of them coming to the Capital, though the quest won't fail.

You can loot Thrygve's body to obtain Thrygve's Axe, a two-handed greataxe, and a set of Titansteel armor, once the quest is completed.

After your choice, you'll be returned to the mortal realm and have a scene with both of them, giving you progress in Divided We Fall, and completing Rise The Mountain, Face The Storm, which will reward you with around 5,000 EXP.
