During the conversation, you'll find out that Gerf'hanr needs help uniting all the Dál Riata tribes, which you can choose to take part in. You'll have to go to each tribe's village, locate their chief, and help them out as part of their own particular side quests.

Once you have all three Blessings, craft the Giant's Grudge greatsword, then challenge Thrygve to a duel to determine the fate of the tribe. Before he dies, you'll have a choice of having Stron'ner or Darv'hanr lead the village, and this determines whether the Úlfr will come to the Moot.

The Theud Tribe Village is located in the southwestern corner of the Forlorn Swords, and the safest path to it is via the hidden Elevator Pass on the back side of the Úlfr Village. This will lead you to a beach area, and the path from it will take you up the mountain to the Theud Village.

Speak to the guard, Skuld, and the chieftain of the Theud, Yvgni, then you can use the portal door in the village to enter The Dreaming. Inside this realm, you'll need to speak and complete side quests for four different people so that they can successfully enter the Sonder.

When you complete all their side quests, you can speak with The Mother and get her to either forbid Yvgni from attending or allow Yvgni to attend the moot, depending on what dialogue options you pick. Either outcome will complete the quest and progress Divided We Fall in one of two ways.

  • If you get Batraam and the Sveinn to join the Moot, he will give you King Arthur's Gauntlets.
  • If you get Yngvi, and by extension the Theud, to join the Moot, he will give you King Arthur's Boots.
  • If you get Angsvar and the Volker to join the Moot, he will give you King Arthur's Greaves.
  • If you get Stron'ner and the Úlfr to join the Moot, he will give you King Arthur's Breastplate.

After the conversation, you'll be free to enter the King's Threat dungeon, though wearing the King Arthur armor set is not required, and continue with the other main quest, The Long Defeat.
