It's no easy task to kill Caradoc, but it can be done with patience and practice. We'll help ꧙🌃you not only kill him, but get some excellent loot and a couple achievements and trophies in the process. Don't worry, there won't be any hard feelings.
Where To Find Caradoc At The Island Asylum
After Caradoc breaks you out of your cell in the Red Priest's prison, you can spend as much time as you like exploring the Island Asylum. However, eventually you'll need to lea꧋ve. Without an indoor map, it's easy to get turned around.
To find Caradoc easily, follow these steps:
- From your cell, turn left and go to the end of the hall where a guard lies pinned to a chair.
- Once at the storage room, take another left and head down the stairs to the cells where the undead burst out.
- Continue to make another left here until you reach the locked Laboratory door.
- Turn right and cross the bridge overlooking a torture chamber.
- Turn right at the stairs and head down to the bottom where a Red Priest camps.
- Make a left to find a hole in the wall and Caradoc waiting for you.
While you can kill Caradoc here, it's incredi𒅌bly difficult and not recommended.
How To Kill Caradoc At The Island Asylum
The easiest way to kill Caradoc is to wait until he returns to the beach with you at night. This gives you an opportunity to level up at the campfire and save before attempting to challenge him.
When you're ready, you'll want to make sure you have your loadout set with both spells and a bow. Strike fast to hit Caradoc with a sneak attack, then bolt out of range.
Don't go too far! If you do, Caradoc will switch from melee to ranged weapons, making this much more difficult.
If even one of Caradoc's attacks hits you, it's over. What you need to do is find cover either over by the rocks or hop into the boat. If you stand on the crates so Caradoc can't reach you, he'll just stand there and wait while you whittle away his health.
When his health gets low, he'll try to heal. Use a headshot to stop this, although there's a good chance that Caradoc will stumble and move out of his trapped position. Stay calm and readjust as needed. Keep attacking with your spells and arrows, and avoid up-close combat at all costs.
The Burning Embers spell will set Caradoc on fire, dealing significant damage 𒁃over time.
When Caradoc's HP reaches zero, he'll collapse. However, he's not dead yet. Quickly get to his body and use the execute command before his HP r🃏epl🔯enishes or you'll have to start from the beginning.
Once he's executed, you can loot his body for a note and take all his gear. It will overload you at first, but you can get away with wearing a couple of pieces to keep yourself safe. You'll unlock the No Chains, No Destiny achievement/trophy.
Hold onto this armor! You'll need it to unlock the Double Identity trophy/achievement.
From there, get into the boat and head to the ๊mainland. There's still work to be done.
How To Get The Double Identity Trophy/Achievement
Once you reach the Horns of the South, head north from the shipwrecked beach and northeast of the Blood Lake. You'll find a path leading up to the Shrine of a Forgotten God. Before you can enter 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Lair of the Beast, you'll spot Caradoc sitting on the rocks.
Make sure you equip each piece of Caradoc's Ranger Armor, then speak with him. Ask whatever questions you like, as he'll have🎃 varied responses based on your previous discussions. However, he'll tell you that you need to get Excalibur on your own.
He won't comment on yo🌌u killing꧟ him or wearing his gear, surprisingly enough.
Select whichever options you like. After he leaves, the trophy/achievement should pop, and you'll have successfully stolen Caradoc's identity and dignity. Well done!
Speaking to Caradoc after retrieving Excalibur does not count towards the a💟chievement, even if you're wearing the armor. It has to be before you obtain the second piece of King 🌜Arthur's soul.
