Black Tar Prophecies is one of Jann Hepler's side quests, and to get access to it, you need to complete the first side quest given by him, The Lenses And Eye Of The Sage.

Speak to Jann in his room next to Fearghas' work area, and if you exhaust his dialogue options, you can ask him about druidic rituals and start his first side quest. To find the Ancient Cromlech, begin at the Horns Of The South Keep, then head far to the north♌, passing the Hunter's Camp ✨and Forgotten Cemetery.

If you speak with Margh at the Hunter's Camp, you can start another 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:side quest, Dead As Dreams, which takes place at the Forgotten Cemetery and has some good rewards.

Once you reach the Abandoned Stronghold, head east along the road, then take the first path going north and cross the bridge next to Broc, another NPC who 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:offers a side quest for you. Head east on the other side of the bridge, past the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:All-Mother's Shrine, and you'll come to the Ancient Cromlech, where you need to be.

Go to the center of the area, and you'll get a prompt to begin the ritual. Watch the scene that occurs and exhaust the dialogue, then return to the Horns Of The South Keep, go to Jann's Quarters, and speak to Jann again.

How To Complete Black Tar Prophecies

Player character speaking with Drest and getting several options for getting his help in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon.

Now, you'll need to locate and speak with Drest, who can be found on the shore of the beach directly beneath the Horns Of The South Keep.

You can reach it by going southeast of The Village fast travel point or taking a longer route west from the fast travel point at The Peninsula, both of which offer some loot to find.

Drest is also key to two other quests, the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:side quest Age Of Excuses from Berach, and a more minor one from Keeper Dan, and you can get all three progress in one visit if you get them first before going to him.

You can get Drest to help for free if you select the dialogue option regarding the Red Priest, but you can also get him to do it by giving him some food, such as Pork, or a cooked dish like 🔴Cabbage Rolls.

Whatever option you pick, Drest will eventually agree, and he'll ask you to meet him at the Ancient Cromlech. Return there using the fast travel point outside, and when you approach the center shrine, you will get a cutscene with him that leads to two outcomes.

Attacking Iona Or Siding With Drest

Player character using magic and a sword to fight Iona alongside Drest in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.

You can go ahead and attack Iona, or, through dialogue options, side with Drest to start a fight with her. Iona has the same stats and attacks as a regular dryad enemy and drops a Dried Resin.

You can inquire about Iona to Drest after, and he'll eventually ask to be alone before leaving the area and eventually returning home, leaving him available for future quests.

You may need to pass the time by Resting at a campfire before Drest actually shows back up at his home along the beach.

Siding With Iona

Player character speaking to Iona, a dryad, after Drest dies in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.

If you go with the option of cleansing the Ancient Cromlech, Iona will suggest a way to fix the ritual, but this will require you to sacrifice Drest.

If you have Drest killed here before finishing side quests such as Age of Excuses, you'll be locked out of completing them, as he's required for their positive outcomes or to prevent outright quest failure.

Agreeing to do so will have Drest killed, and afterward, you can loot his body to obtain the Druid's Talisman, an amulet that reduces overall Mana Cost by five percent, and speak with Iona about her feelings on the matter.

Whichever person you side with, you'll now be able to return to Jann Heber at the Horns Of The South Keep and tell him what happened, which will complete the quest and reward you with 1000 EXP, along with a bonus of around 500 EXP.
