Thiꦍs Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon will ask you to make some tough decision, w💫e'll reveal the rewards associated with each.
During the first hours of the game, you'll take your first steps in the Horns of the South, a region full of ⭕enemies that will try to annihilate you at every step. To avoid death, you must equip yourself with as many weapons as you can, and here we'll tell you all about it.
Cut-Off Hand
Damage |
8-12 Damage |
---|---|
How To Get |
Sold by Balth𝓀azar for 120 Gold - Horns Of The South - Keeper's Fortress. |
Is it the strongest weapon out there? No, not really, but it does decent damage for the early game, which is good, as you won't have a wide variety of in the first few hours. And I mean, c'mon, it's a f🎉loppy severed hand, I don't know what else to tell you.
Redcap's Dagger
Damage |
11-14 Damage |
---|---|
How To Get |
Dropped by Redcaps - The Horns Of The South regꦓion. |
One of the first few monsters you will find in Avalon is the Redcap, which will drop the best possible daggers for you to start with, as their attack value is way better than the base Daggers, and you can use them for a while until you get rarer ones. You just need to kill a few, loot them, and voila! You𓆉'll be battle-ready if Daggers are your weapon of choice.
Grindylow's Hammer
Damage |
23-25 Damage |
---|---|
How To Get |
Dropped by G𒐪rindylows - 𒀰The Horns Of The South region. |
However, if you prefer something more sturdy, you should kill Grindylows instead; even though they're a bit sturdy, you can get a good weapon out of this, as these will drop their hammer as an equippable weapon. This hammer will immensely increase your offensive potential, but at the cost of your attack speed and stamina spent, so only grab one if you're relying on heavy attacks on your 🤡build
Hexed Bow
Damage |
13-14 Damage |
---|---|
How To Get |
Lootable at the top of the watch💫tower in t🅷he Ruined Broch - The Horns Of The South region. |
The Hexed Bow will probably be the first magical Bow you'll encounter in the game, and while it's not a gamechanger per se, being able to deal physical and magical damage at the same time helps you to stay versatile, asꦛ some enemies are weaker to magic than physical attacks.
Swift Dagger
Damage |
10-13 Damage |
---|---|
How To Get |
Inside a chest in a dig spot at the Forgotten Cemetery - The Horns Of Th🃏e South region. |
If your character has a Dexterity-based build, you will want to get this weapon as soon as you can, as it enhances your Damage by 25 percent after a Dash, something you will do a lot during combat. Depending on your build, you may or may not pay attention to dashing, evading, and such, but if you hate parrying and appreciate a nimble approach to combat, then this weapon is for you.
Smuggler's Dagger
Damage |
8-10 Damage |
---|---|
How To Get |
|
While this dagger doesn't have the highest Damage, it has an effect that gives you ten Gold per killed enemy, which is just useful, as it lets you rack up some money to eventually buy the rarer articles from shop vendors at the Keeper's Fortress. Even though the Gold gain isn't that much, it's certainly useful if you're fast at killing.
Big Bonk
Damage |
40-60 Damage |
---|---|
How To Get |
Inside a chest in a dig spot, near the Tomb Of The Great Druid - Horns Of The💙 South region. |
Big Bonk, as its name indicates, certainly packs a serious punch, and while you need to invest 12 points in Strength to be able to use it in full effect, it'll make your fights against multiple enemies significantly easier. Its Heavy attacks will create a shockwave that will push enemies away, givi🔥ng you a gap tꦿo heal or escape if needed; however, with those damage numbers, I don't think you'll need it.
Thunderous Greatbow
Damage |
25-30 Damage |
---|---|
How To Get |
Lootable at the top of the watch𝓀tower in the Sunken Village near the Keeper's Fortress - The Horns Of The South re✤gion. |
By far the best weapon on the list, the Thunderous Greatbow will make you spend Mana on fully-charged arrows. However, with that cost comes a great benefit, as those arrows will deal some whopping 30 points of damage as an AoE attack, making this bow ideal to take out groups of enemies from as far away as you want, giving you a considꦫerable upper hand in those first early hours.
