However, before diving in, it's important t💛o know what you're getting into. For this reason, we've developed a guide will of our best tips and tricks to get you started. Whether it's what ite𓂃ms you should hold onto or how to best gain experience, we've got you covered.

Sneak Everywhere, All The Time

From the moment you get started, crouch down and crawl through the prison on the island. Your sneak skill will increase by passing the Red Priests and any other monsters and prisoners around you. Regardless of your preferred play style, gaining those early experience points is crucial to leveling up and unlocking new skills.

You can always gain additional experience by sneaking up on enemies and attacking them🔴 for bonus damage!

To continuously improve this skill, you could just stay crouched the entire time. However, it's best reserved for open areas with enemies nearby or indoor dungeons and caves. You'll see just how many times the sneak skill improves, and the detection system may even alert you to dangers you can't see yet.

Pick Every Lock You Find

If you see a lockpick, pick it up. There are dozens of locked chests all over Avalon, and you can crack them open by picking the lock. Even if the rewards are rather crummy, the experience gained for opening the secured chest is priceless.

Chests can be found in private quarters, which are a bit harder to get to undetected, or they can be scattered in the wilds outside city walls. Keep your eyes peeled for these wooden crates and other types of containers so you can grab all that sweet loot (and level up while you're at it).

Carry As Many Ingredients As You Can

Everywhere you go, you'll find flowers, vegetables, fruits, and other nasty bits lying around that you can use for either cooking or alchemy. Both are skills you can level up, so it's worth grabbing everything you can for the next time you have access to an alchemy station or cooking pot.

If you use Ethereal Cobwebs at your campfire, you can access these options saf𒆙ely from any location outdoors.

Don't worry about what recipes you have when it comes to cooking. You can always mix up to three random ingredients tog🌠ether to see what you get. Who knows? Maybe it won't just be a bowl of undercooked slop this time.

Sprint And Jump Constantly

You'll also want to sprint and jump as much as you can to increase your agility skill. Regardless of your build, this is a useful way to get experience early on without having to do too much extra work. When you're just starting out, you'll have to walk everywhere anyway.

If you're overencumb𝔉ered, 🥀you can't sprint. However, you can still jump!

Those who opt to go in blazing with brandished swords will likely prefer this over crouching to increase their sn🐲eak skill, but it never hurts toꦫ get some extra experience.

Use Your Campfire Often

When outdoors, you can place your campfire almost anywhere at any time, so long as it's not obstructed. Make use of this to rest, eat, level up, and most importantly–talk to King Arthur.

As you explore the world and the vast wonders that fill it, Arthur may have some comments to share with you. These could be memories from his past or just general advice for moving forward. Talking with the Once and Future King will help assuage your mind when it comes time to make difficult choices, or maybe you'll just li𓂃ke hearing the 𝔍sound of his voice in the rain.

Explore Every Inch Of The Map

The map might seem big, but it's smaller than you'd think. Exploring everything you come across can lead to ruins left by the druids, caves full of treasure, or other forgotten secrets lost to time.

Don't forget to check the bottom of the blood lake for a door. Just🔜 be prepared to fight when you ꦍget in there.

You'll also find side quests and other exciting adventures waiting for you, so it's worth stopping to smell the roses once in a while. You can even pick them and keep them in your bag for later use.

Sweep The Asylum Island Before Leaving

The tutorial area is one of the most important places you'll visit early on, and there's much more to it than just following your mysterious friend to the beach. There's plenty of loot to grab, as well as two mini-bosses to defeat for additional gear and experience.

Just make sure you're ready to face them. 'Tutorial' doesn't translate t☂o 'easy.'

There's also the matter of the plague victims being held within. Leaving them to their own devices will likely result in their slow and painful deaths, which won't do anyone any good. However, you can sneak up on them and deal the finishing blow for a small sum of experience.

Pick Up Tools ASAP

Don't ignore the shovel. Seriously, pick it up when you see it. You can use the shovel as a weapon, but most importantly, you can use it to dig up buried treasure. There are chests hidden all over Avalon just waiting to be plundered!

There are other tools you can grab too, like a wood-cutting axe, a pick, and a fishing rod. These tools will enable you to harvest various resources that can be used for crafting, so don't pass up the chance to get them early on at the Asylum Island while you can.

Talk To Everyone You Meet

You never know what might happen. Talking to NPCs is always a good idea, whether they drop bits of lore, offer goods, or provide bits of training for you to increase your skills. However, even some enemies offer you a chance to negotiate, though the chances of success may be slim.

Sometimes, you'll just have to fight, but it's woཧrth listening to the mon💃ologue first for any extra details.

From the necromancer hiding in a cave to the knights of the round table waiting to be dealt with, there are plenty of diverse and lively characters to converse with. Maybe the next person you meet will have a legendary quest for you, or maybe they'll give you a pie recipe.

Become A Bounty Hunter

Tainted Grail Fall of Avalon - Turning in bounties in the Keeper Stronghold.

As soon as you get off the Asylum Island, you can start taking bounties from the Keepers stronghold. These bounties will give you large sums of gold when you start out, all for killing bandits and thugs you likely already found in your tr🍸avels across 💮Avalon.

Be sure to collect the Branded Flesh from any bandits, as it's worth its weight in gold–well, about ten pieces, act💎ually෴.

Keep tabs on your bounties and prizes to establish a nest egg fo🌠r your travels. Someone has to take carܫe of those bandits, and it may as well be you!
