While they join in disparate classes, they can all access the rare Shaman class once you acquire some relevant Classmarks through Chapter 4's Temples side quest. That said, there's nothing to say they can't excel in their default classes!

Cistina & Cerya: Valkyrie Builds

Tactics Ogre Reborn Cerya Valkyrie Build

Class

Valkyrie

Equipment

Best suitable elemental spear (Ignis for Cerya, Zephyros for Cistina) available and an accessory thওat imp🧜roves maneuverability such as the Sidhe Ring or Ring of Clouds.

Spells

Cerya: Sparksphere, Salamander, Instill Fire, Heal

Cistina: Deadshot, Sylphide, Instill Air, Heal

Skills

Spears, Meditate, Conserve MP, Nature's Touch

This build is the quintessential Valkryie build, emphasizing magical damage whi🎀le still being competent ꦍon the front and middle lines.

  • Until you get the better movement-improving rings in the Palace of the Dead, equip Cerya and Cistina with INT-boosting rings to improve their physical damage.
  • Make use of Conserve MP whenever it triggers, especially to fire off summon spells like Sylphide and Salamander when you can - those powerful area-of-effect spells are expensive but can be put to great use when they're suddenly made free of charge.
  • Nature's Touch is always a bonus, as you'll pretty much always be putting out elemental damage - especially once you get the elemental spears.
  • Instill spells can be traded for Ease pretty safely if your army struggles with status ailments.
  • Spears are chosen over the alternative weapons that Valkyries can use thanks to their extra range helping the sisters stay alive a bit longer.

The strategy here is to take advantage of your MP-based skills as much as possible to fire spells off with impunity and pump out lots o♕f Finishing Moves. Between Conserve MP an🐽d Meditate, you should always have good MP reserves to take advantage of. Send these Valkyries toward auto-ability buff cards for the best results.

Olivya: Cleric Build

Tactics Ogre Reborn Olivya Cleric Build

Class

Cleric

Equipment

Bဣest MND-focused Cudgel available and MND-increas🔴ing accessories.

Spells

Heal, Major Heal, Resurrect, Ease

Skills

Cudgels, Meditate, Mother's Mercy, Mother's Blessing

This build is on the simple side for a unique character, but it's here because it works so well. It also suits Olivya's caring nature to be a healing-focused character.

  • Despite not getting a chance to attack all that much, high-level Cudgel Finishing Moves are good for putting dents into tough enemies or finishing off the weaklings, and by the time a Cleric can consider using them, they probably don't need to be conserving their MP.
  • Having some variety in healing - single-target and area-of-effect - can only be useful in making Olivya a flexible healer.
  • Kit Olivya out with whatever items your party needs at the time, whether you predict lots of KOs, status ailment healing, or some extra healing oomph.

This build does as all healers do - hangs back and waits until they're needed. With late-game healing equipment, Olivya should have no trouble supporting her allies in a fight and makes for a great, low RT Cleric to take along.

Sherri: Witch Build

Tactics Ogre Reborn Sherri Witch Build

Beginning the game as a Witch, Sherri's the closest to the sisters' unique class, Shaman.

Class

Witch

Equipment

Bꦓest spellbook avail෴able, best INT-boosting accessory available.

Spells

Gaia Strike, Vulcan Lance, Drain Mind, Petriburst

Skills

Spellbooks, Meditate, Engulf, Spellstrike

With a full r💧oster of powerful spells, Sherri makes for the best earth mage in the game.

  • Between spellbooks and their fantastic bonus range and the Engulf skill, a bit of luck will have Sherri firing spells across entire battlefields without having to move at all. This means her turns will come around quicker, improving her usability even further.
  • Gaia Strike is a late-game Draconic spell that you'll want to consider Sherri's main mode of offense - until then, use Cragfall.
  • Petriburst is one of the strongest status spells in the game, and Sherri has the stats to use it really effectively. It's fantastic for taking threats out of the fight.

With such great bonuses to spell range, Sherri shouldn't have to move much. This doesn't mean she's safe, however - keep some support nearby and load her up with healing items just in case. She's a good candidate for your limited MP-recovery items, as she really wants to be firing spells every single turn she gets.

All Sisters: Shaman Build

Tactics Ogre Reborn Cistina Shaman Build

With so many options given to Shamans, it can be hard to pin down the perfect buil🌃d for the sisters.

Class

Shaman

Equipment

The best elemental cudgel that matches the sister in question an🐟d the best INT-boosting accessory available.

Spells

Cistina: Aeroflux, Sylphide, Tempest, Tornado

Cerya: Salamander, Supernova, Annihilation, Firestorm

Olivya: Dread Vapor, Undine, Deluge, Acid Rain

Sherri: Earthquake, Gnome, Gaia Strike, Cragfall

Skills

Cudgels, Meditate, [Element] Resonance, Nature's Touch

This build has the Shaman moving a bit closer to the action than you'd usually put a mage, but with the fantastic Elemental Resonance auto-abilities to hand, it's not a bad idea.

  • This build is focused on dropping tactical nukes on groups of enemies through a wide range of area-of-effect spells. Since you have so many different varieties of damage, you can always take the time to find the spell that would deal the most damage in each situation.
  • Nature's Touch is a great skill for any mage who uses elemental attacks.
  • The elemental cudgels can be found and crafted in the Palace of the Dead. Until then, consider spellbooks for their range bonuses.

Finding the right location to drop a large spell is important with this build, and it can be quite MP-hungry. Support a Shaman with some MP recovery and physical defenders and you've got yourself a win condition.
