Thankfully💎, the game can be played in multiplayer in Jamboree TV, which includes a variety of mouse-based minigames to try out the Switch 2's new tech, but it also strangely removes a lot of popular features from the base version of the game. For example, the Pro Rules mode can't be played in Jamboree TV, and achievements have been removed too.
Essentially, you're either fo﷽rced to play the exact same Switch version of Super Mario Party Jamboree if you want Pro Rules, or you're forced into the shinier version of the game that has taken out various popular features. It's a pretty bizarre decision from Nintendo, and one that diminishes the value of the title significantly. Unless you're super-excited about playing around a dozen new minigames, you might just be best sticking with the original version.
