From the real to the fantastic, each of your fa♑rms in the unique regions of the game offer a handful of different but exciting animals to raise.
Whether you’re looking for all the animals available in Sun Haven and where to find them, how to care for them once they arrive, or how to boost you🌱r chances for gold products, we’ve got it covered.
All Farm Animals And How To Get Them
The colorfully eccentric Kitty runs Kitty’s Animal Store – originally just in Sun Haven, but eventually in Nel’Vari once you’re able to access the new region.
Animals are purchased from Emmett at the counter in Kitty's Animal Store for gold in Sun Haven and mana orbs in Nel’Vari.
They appear in your inventory after purchase and must be placed someplace on your farm.
Each animal consumes a Population Point. The number you have can be found at the top of your screen by your currency counts.

A Note On Snaccoons
In order to unlock the ability to purchase them, you’ll need to have the “Friends of the Forest” skill from the Farming skill tree maxed.
After receiving the third letter from the “Friends of the Forest” skill, a Snaccoon will move onto your farm.
You can then buy more Snaccoons from Kitty after the first one arrives on its own.
How To Care For Your Animals
Do You Need A Barn In Sun Haven?
While most games require a barn, Sun Haven allows you to place animals on your farm, even if you don’t have one.
Animals can be placed directly on your farm, and they’ll be completely free-range until you’ve built a fence to keep them corralled.
By placing animals outside the barn, you can instead use the building for things like machines or chests to keep the farm organized.
The Automatic Feeders and Petters inside still work as normal like this, so long as the animals have a clear path to them.
Barns can be purchased from Emmett over at the Town Hall, and each one will cost 5,000 gold. You can place up to four barns on your property.
Each barn brings eight population points.
How To Feed Animals
It should come as no surprise that your animals need food.
Kitty sells Animal Food, but you can also make it by using the Baker’s Station. The recipe requires one Wheat.
If you’re manually feeding your animals, simply equip the Animal Food and then interact with the animal to feed it by hand.
However, you can invest in Automatic Feeders for the barn, to eliminate the need to feed the animals by hand each day.
The Automatic Feeder is not infinite, though; you need to reload the Automatic Feeder to keep it stocked.
Barns all come with ten feed slots, but if you don’t have a barn on your farm, you’ll need to buy Feeding Stations from Town Hall in order to utilize the Automatic Feeder.
Feeding Stations will run you 500 gold each.
If there aren’t enough Feeding Stations for everyone, some of your animals won’t get fed unless you do it manually, lowering their happiness.
How To Gather Products From Your Animals
Instead of depositing them in a specific location, you collect goods from your barnyard animals by interacting with them. A simple pet is all it takes to both show your affection and collect an animal product.
But, just like feeding, animal product collection can be automatized with the Automatic Collector, also available from Town Hall for 1,000 gold each. These will collect and store animal products for you.
How To Unlock Golden Animal Products
Animals will occasionally give golden animal products instead, and these golden products have a higher selling price.
These come from the “Golden Heart” skill from the Farming skill tree.
This is a three-tier skill that can be enhanced for better results.
- Tier One offers an eight percent increase to your odds of receiving golden products.
- Tier Two bumps you to a 12 percent increase to your chances.
- Tier Three maxes out at a 16 percent increase.
