There is a big dragon fountain that looks like it is pouring out lava in front of Town Hall. When you first interact with this fountain, you will notice it gives you around a two percent boost for your overall mana. This is permanent. This can't be abused, of course. You can't get the power boost every single day. Check back every other day or every week. Make sure checking the fountain is part of your daily rounds.

There is an empty wooden cart right beside Pod's house. Pod's house is the second house you see once you head right to leave your farm. Interact with this cart every couple of days to earn one or two potato seeds. There is also a picnic bench that can grant you bread or apples when you interact with it.
Another important area is the birds that huddle around the front of the General Store just above Pod's house. Interacting with the birds occasionally can reward you with Wheat seeds, which are some of the most important seeds since wheat is used in many different crafting recipes.
