For anyone in the gaming community, it was hard to not see the massive explosive fallout around Suicide Sqaud: Kill The Justice League. It was visible from orbit and despite there being some 🌜defenders of the ga♕me, it got absolutely dragged through the coals, almost deservedly.

For a studio like Rocksteady, the team behind the fantastic Arkham series of Batman games to fumble the ball so monumentally badly is absolutely baffling and genuinely quite depressing as there was a lo𒀰t of goodwill behind the team. Not anymore sadly. But if you missed the kerfuffle and have some cash burning a hole in your pocket, then here’s the down low on if Suicide Sqaud: Kill The Justice League is worth it.

When it comes to review scores of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justi🐼ce League we’re seeing a lot of low scores across the board. Not since the days of Too Human, Anthem, or more recently Redfall have we seen such a vehement distaste for a game.

To take a dipstick to the wider Gaming Community we’ve got a 2.3 average out of ten from the usual mainstream outlets. Over on Metacritic, we’re look﷽ing at an expected 60 from Critics and an abysmal 3.6 from Community Reviews. On Steam we’ve got 779 Mixed Reviews and Mostly Positive from a small pool of 5,227 people.

The player base of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League at the time of writing is sitting around 500 people, 800 within the average 24 hours and 13, 459 at its peak. The game's budget was roughly 100 million dollars. It’s not making that back.

Finally, we’ve got TheGamer's own EIC Stacey Henley’s take on the game and you can probably guess how it went. In general, Stacey had some positive things to say about the game, such as the character writing and their interactions with each other.

First things first, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is not a long game, but it does have a lot of padding. For example, How Long To Beat states that to clear through the camꦰpaign it will take around 10 to 11 hours and around 41 if you want 100 percent the game. Though why you 𝓀would torture yourself like that is beyond the rest of us.

However, the world's biggest pin needs to be placed in that time estimation because the main thing you’ll be doing in the game to take up all that sweet lovely time is grinding. Whether that’s to create havoc to hit certain 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:mission unlock parameters or to get resources for the endgame.

You’ll be grinding more than Tony Hawk at an Angle Grinding Conventionജ. And that’s before taking the BattlePass shenanigans into consideration because that’s an even bigger black hole foꦉr your free time.

Each level on the Battle Pass requires on average 1000 experience points. But, each mission only pays out 50 experience poin🍨ts an🌱d they can take a fair amount of time to beat depending on the activity, difficulty, and so on. You can see where we’re going with this.

Now, there are 76 levels in that Battle Pass. To fully complete it you would need to c🎐omplete roughly 1,520 missions to finish the pass for what’s essentially a bunch of palette swaps and some Wayne Tech-themed gear. Although if you play as Captain Boomerang you won’t get any Wayne Tech skins, sorry Boomerang mains you’re out of luck once again.

Whilst How Long To Beat may have the full completionist time set at 41, that’s for a full squad playing constantly. It&rsꦫquo;s going to take far longer to gr💙ind through it on your own.

What Does It Cost?

When Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League launched it was retailing at around 70 Dollars for the standard version and over 112 for the Deluxe Edition. Though⛎ the Deluxe Edition is pointless as outside of a few skins its selling point was early access to the game before launch.

But even then the servers were down for over 12 hours before launch so it didn’t matter anyway. However, because the game absolute🐻ly bombed at launch and the player base evaporated faster than a Snowball on the Sun, that price is massively slashed.

In no way would ꦕwe endorse or recommend paying full price for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. For starters, over 70 dollars for a game is already pretty ridiculous on its own, and when you consider the sheer lack of content and the substandard quality of what’s left you’re better off using your money elsewhere.

Plus, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League tries to p🍎ride itself on having microtransactions you don’t need or hav🦂e to pay for. In the end, they’ll still end up bleeding you dry anyway.

For example, the cosmetics are barebones or just color swaps, with the good ones locked behind premium currency or wedged deep within🐲 the Battle Pass behind hours of grind that you’ll not want to do.

Also, their new seasonal charact༒ers can be unlocked through grind, but as previously mentioned that’s over one thousand missions or more per new character, or 10 doll𓄧ars in Premium Currency if you want to bypass it, which you inevitably will.

Everything from the outset in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is built to waste your time and encourage you to spend cash on “Time Savers”. Keep your money, or use it on some well-deserving 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Indie games instead.

Mistakes Were Made In Metropolis - Dennis Moiseyev

To get from the ending of Arkham Knight to the events now taking shape in Kill the Justice League was some of the most utterly jarring ꧟and rushed world-building, where, all of a sudden, the universe turns into Injustice and now stars the Suicide Squad in Metropolis, but a shoddy museum tour should make up for it?

That's just the start of the issues. The repetitive combat design, uninspired side missions, and unsatisfying conclusion to the story purposely meant to keep you coming back for the seasonal live-service model which will offer more of the same gameplay is a travesty to what could've been an amazing standalone Suicide Squad game.

Now, the good. The writing is superb and all the Suicide Squad characters shine in their humor and mannerisms, and it's probably the best version you'll see of them, which is why it's so crushing they're utilized in such a way. Amanda Waller and support members are also well-written.

Metropolis is large, expansive, full of potential, and filled with Easter eggs that nod to other DC heroes and villains, with some that might even be teasing future Task Force X members. Overall, there are some excellent and memorable story moments as well, but it's best to wait for a pretty significant discount, with emphasis on 'significant'.

Avoid At All Costs (Literally) - Aidan Cannon

As a diehard DC Comics fan, I was ecstatic when Suicide Squad was first r🦂evealed at 2020’s Fandome. However, after spending over 80 hours with the game (I’m disappointed with myself too), I can admit what others have been saying for months: it’s just not that great.

A severe lack of content holds it back, forcing you to repeat the same missions ad nauseam, and my love for the source material can only blind me so much from the game's flaws. I maintain a morbid curiosity around future seasons and playable characters, but as of right now, you shouldn’t drop into the world of Metropolis unless it’s at a steep discount.

So t🐼o answer that question about whether Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is worth it? The answer is a firm and adamant “No”. It’s a prime example of wasted potential, especially considering that Kevin Conroy, the iconic voice of Batman for a generation, is no longer with us.
