Suicide Squad: Ki🌠ll The Justice League - 10 Best Story Moments

A killer story with some killer moments is what Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has in st✱ore.

All that said, sometimes it's normal to have a few details not adding up, whether due to weird writing decisions or things the developers had to do for the sake of gameplay that might feel unrealistic. This happens here, too, though it doesn't ruin the experience.

10 💃 Why Is Everyone In Arkham?

Arkham Is Not A Prison

King Shark trying to pull Harley, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang off of him as Harley is sticking her fingers in Boomer's mouth and Boomer shows Deadshot the finger.

Despite looking like a prison, Arkham is an asylum — in fact, the full name of the institution is Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane. That means not every criminal of Gotham goes there. But everyone is there at the beginning of the game, in what seems to be an homage to the Arkham series by 🍨having the game start there.

King Shark mentions being transferred from Belle Reve, an actual prison known for having metahumans, but it doesn't explain the other guys being in Arkham. Harley is the only person that makes sense to be there, and if the idea is to transfer everybody to recruit them together, why not take Harley away instead of transferring three people?

9 Harley Quinn's Behavior

Somehow, She's Over Joker

This detail isn't a massive break in logic, but it is odd. There's a five-year gap between this game and the events of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Batman: Arkham Knight, so it's not an issue that Harley has different perspectives on her life, but unlike most iterations of the character, this Harley never had a falling out with the Joker.

Yet, here she acts as she usually does when having solo adventures: happy that s🎶he got rid of Mister J, even though she sought revenge for his death twice during the Arkham games🦩.

Bruce Has Some Lawsuits To Deal With

Batman on a rooftop in a breaking news with lightning and cape angled as a tribute to Kevin Conroy and Batman: The Animated Series.

Considering that this is the same Batman from the Arkham series, there are a few weird details about his initial appearance. The world discovered his identity in Arkham Knight, so Bruce forged his death and continued operating using Scarecrow's fear toxin, making criminals believe there was a ghost after them or at least a Batman impersonator.

However, Bruce is here once again, with his identity revealed. Is he in the clear for all the crimes he committed due to vigilantism? And how is he funding himself? There are brief mentions of Lucius Fox helping the Justice League through WayneTech, but that doesn't explain everything.

7 Penguin🌺 Getting Electrocuted 🐟

How Is Waller Not Aware?

Harley, King Shark, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang watching from a distance as Penguin is lying on the ground and continuously getting shocked.

Okay, we're reaching nitpick territory, but while the game has a hilarious scene where they ask Amanda Waller to shock the Penguin repeatedly because he's escaping — when, in reality, the first shock knocked him out already — that doesn't make a lot of sense.

In addition to your Justice League targets, there are lots of Easter eggs🎶 to hit around Metropoღlis.

She knows Penguin is not a metahuman, so it's weird that she's shocking him multiple times upon the Squad's request. The game also establishes that the bombs in their heads come with biorhythm data, which should let her know if the person with the bomb is awake or not.

6 Waller Not Listening To The Squad All The Time 🌸

Why Give Them Privacy?

Though it's to be expected that Waller won't waste her entire day listening to these miscreants, it makes no sense to let them talk with one another with zero supervision. Sure, maybe a breach here and there due to no soldier wanting to listen to them, but having the squad decide when to talk to A.R.G.U.S.?

Waller should know better than to trust them, especially since part of the story involves finding a way to get rid of the bombs. She saw that coming, as it was a bit obvious, but it's still weird.

5 Wonder Woman Not Caring About The Squad's Situation

Isn't She A Hero?

Wonder Woman with a raised sword in Kill the Justice League

Brainiac does not control 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Wonder Woman in this game, and her goal is to save her friends. She doesn't want the help of criminals, which is fair, but isn't she curious why a bunch of villains are helping the government against this alien crisis?

And even if she doesn't know about the bomb situation, the squad apparently has all the privacy they need to ask her for help and let her be aware of the problem. Even if saving the squad would be low on her priority list, it feels a bit out-of-character how she doesn't care or help.

4 Flash And Superman Not💞 Instantly Killing Anybody

A Recurring Problem At DC Comics, Really

This game isn't the only instance where this is an issue, so it's hard to blame the game entirely, but it's worth noting. Superman, and especially the Flash, are just too threatening for anyone to oppose them, so if they're villains, it's over.

The Flash even kills Luthor so fast we don't see him picking Luthor's heart. He could kill the entire squad in less than a second, and Superman wouldn't be far behind. It would've made more sense if the squad had a puzzle-like battle, using the Kryptonite/Anti-Speed Force device to render the two characters completely powerless to then kill them in a single shot during a cutscene or something, but even that is a stretch.

Flash also appears with both of his thumbs once he's evil, even though Boomerang cut off his left thumb. Sure, Brainiac can have something that fixed him, but that's never addressed.

3 ܫ ♋ Green Lantern Ring Going Out Of Control

Is That A Thing?

King Shark transforming into Green Lantern with the powers of the ring in a cutscene.

The green lantern is fueled by the user's willpower. If they lack willpower, the ring won't work properly or won't work at all. King Shark briefly uses the ring — which should've also gotten bigger to adapt to Nanaue's hand — and he temporarily becomes a Green Lantern.

He can't fully control his shark creation, though, which... Tries to attack the squad? If he lacks power, shouldn't the shark have simply disappeared? We understand that's a way to make him lose the ring, but still.

2 ✤ Poison Ivy

From Age To Powers

Poison Ivy from Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League

Ivy got the Groot treatment here; where the old one died, and a new one was born out of her remains. That's all pretty logical, considering her powers, but there are a few weird situations here.

The big issue here is her age: from a five-year gap, she should be five years old then, even younger than she is in the game. Also, her body is a plant — confirmed by King Shark — which also means she can theoretically control her own body at a molecular level, just like she does with plants, right? Can't she remove the bomb if she controls her body?

1 The Squad Resisting Scarecrow's Toxin

Her Plan Isn't Clear

Batman using Scarecrow's toxin in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League

When trapped in a Batcave being filled with Scarecrow's fear toxin, the squad speeds the process up, intoxicating themselves even faster, due to a plan made by Harley, who apparently studied (or just thought about) the toxin for years in Arkham.

Okay, but how exactly did she get herself immune? Or did overdosing themselves somehow save them, since her being immune wouldn't explain the rest of the group? She doesn't really explain how the fear toxin wasn't affecting the squad properly after her plan succeeded.
