How Does Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League End?

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League - Harley Prompts A High Five From The Team

One of the biggest criticisms of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is its ending. For those not aware, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League ends abruptly and it comes completely out of left field. The majority of the game is spent building up to killing the Justice League whilst the showdown with Brainiac is merely an afterthought until Superman is killed.

From there the game focuses on the Suicide Squad figuring out how to get to Brainiac and take him down. However, it turns out there are 13 Brainiacs working together across different universes and the Suicide Squad will n💛eed to beat each one of them one by one.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League - Amanda Waller Makes A Surprise Appearance On The Squads Subterfuge

Lex Luthor and Waller work together begrudgingly to help the Squad access Earth-Two, the location of the Brainiac that kicked all the events off. The idea is that they’ll be able to gain information from this Brainiac by using him as a conduit to access Earth-One's ship. Such as theꦏ location of the dimensions that the other Brainiacs are hiding in🌳.

The Suicide Squad finds their first Brainiac, who calls himself Vril Dox before he turns himself into The Flash to fight the Squad. Though it could be argued that Brainiac himself should be able to handle four people with guns easily, it's just another in a line of disappointing and underwhelming boss fights in the game.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League - Brainiac Floating Above The Suicide Squad In His Boss Room

Vril Dox is the name of the Brainiac i⛦n Earth 2 of the DC Comic🎐s.

Brainiac gets defeated and he’s captured and taken alive in the pseudo-Pokeball gadgets the Suicide Squad uses back to Waller and Lex. Waller stabs a hacking device into Brainiac's head whi🔴ch allows them to download a data burst from Brainiac's ship who himself dies and then explodes.

The Squad celebrate their victory with a long-overdue group high-five whilst commenting that there are 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:12 Brainiacs left to go.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League - Kevin Conroys Eulogy

Then the game slams the handbrake on and the credits roll, out of nowhere. Then after the fanfare, you and your crew are dumped back into the big broken sandbox of Metropolis and you're pretty much left to your own devices.

There’s also a eulogy for Batman/Kevin Conroy after the credits, which is a touching moment. But it’s absolutely obliterated by the game dropping a loot screen and two tone-deaf splash screens about their DLC and ෴Endgame⛄ content immediately after.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League - The Squad Execute A Corrupted Batman

You would not be wrong for feeling confused when all those post-game screens are cleared and you’re dumped back into Metropolis and essentially told to do the endgame whilst waiting for the next content drop. It’s an abysmal way to tell a story and it leaves the plot in a lurch a𝐆s we wait for the next story beat to appear with future DLC.

In Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League to surmise the ending, basically the story stops as soon as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Brainiac is beaten. His ship is still in the city, the civilians he captured on his ship are still there, Metropolis is in ruins and Earth is undefended as its only protectors are all dead. Also, the city is still filled with Brainiac's mutants and minions that you can shoot, as if ꦯhe wasn't dead at all and n⛄othing matters.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League - Brainiacs Still Intact Ship Above A Ruined Metropolis

The Suicide Squad is essentially told to hang around and wait until they’re done going through the information downloaded from Brainiac's brain and that’s it. There are hints that it’s going to be multiverse traveling in the future, but that’s a long way off i🌸f it ever h𝓰appens at all.

How Many Endings Does Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Have?

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League - The Thirteen Brainiacs That Are Working Together

At launch Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has one ending. However, because it’s a live service game with twelve other Brainiacs to take down, it technically has 13, so the story hasn’t actually ended yet.

Since there are still twelve Brainiacs left, and there is a plan to drop DLC with different Squad members in different worlds it means that the story is far from over. New Brainiacs to ꦚbeat in each new dimension which seems to be just Metropolis but reskinned could result in the same ending being repeated over and over again. The Squad fights Brainiac, he gets spiked for information, roll credits.

However, considering the abysmal reception of the game and the hemorrhaging of its 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:player base after launch, it’s highly unlikely that there will be any future for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. This means that the original ending, as abrupt and underwhelming as it is, is the only one it will have.
