Since its first game in the 1980s, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Legend of Zelda series has spawned a total of 19 titles. While the game tends to focus on Link, the series has featured many meღmorable💃 women in prominent roles. In fact, many of those female characters are quite strong both in magic and in physical strength.
Since Ocarina of Time, the games have shown an increasing roster of powerful women. Some fans even hope that Nintendo will allow fans to play as a female or non-binary Link one day. This doesn't include the non-canon female Link from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Hyrule Warriors named Linkle. Until that fan dream comes tru𒁃e, at least the games still h♛ave these powerful women to admire.
Updated June 14, 2023 by Tallis Spalding: With the launch of Tears of the Kingdom, we have been introduced to some new faces and reintroduced to some familiar ones from the Legend of Zelda's women. Most of these female characters are memorable, enjoyable, and an absolute delight to interact with.
Some of them have proven their strength since Breath of the Wild, and others, while new and from Tears of the Kingdom, still prove that the Legend of Zelda girls are a force to be reckoned with. Strength doesn't necessarily come from a showcase of physical fortitude or raw magical power but rather the solidness of one's character and the power of their will. While only a few of the women on this list might be able to take on a Goron in an arm wrestling contest, they all have strong wills and persevere.
12 🥃 Riju, Chief Of ℱThe Gerudo
Originally a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Breath of the Wild girl, Riju had been just been settling into her new station as Chief of the Gerudo, and finding out her own strengths. But in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tears of the Kingdom, Riju skillfully demonstrates her strength. She is fiercely loyal to the Gerudo and skillfully commands them in battle, and with a bit of Link's help, she wields lightning like a fine-tuned weapon.
You would be a fool to challenge her no matter how prepared you think you are. Riju may still be young, but her skills will only grow aꦕnd become more refined with time. She is already one of the strongest female Zelಌda characters, so the future is bright.
11 Mineru💝, Sage Of Spir🌳it
As one of the sages in Tears of the Kingdom, Mineru, the sister of Rauru, is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with. She was first introduced in Tears of the Kingdom, and while your time wౠith her is not the longest, she makes a noticeable impact on the story and the hearts of you and NPCs alike.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The strength of her power carries her through the game, allowing her to help and interact with Link as a Zonai Construct. Her perseverance and her dedication to helping save Hyrule alongside her fel☂low Sages is beyond that of the average Hyl♔ian.
10 🌳 Impa, The Guardian
Impa is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a character who has appeared in m🐟any gam𒁃es, including The Legend of Zelda, The Adventure of Link🧜, Ocarina of Time, Oracle of Ages, Skyward Sword, A Link Between Worlds, and Breath of the Wild. In every incar💛nation, she is a servant of the royal family, either as a bodyguard or some form of attendant to Zelda.
Her age ranges quite a bit, depending on the game. But her younger incarnations are the most powerful, with Impa often being a skilled warrior. She was a fan-favorite character from the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity title and continues to be beloved by many.
9 🌸 Midna, The Twilight Princess 🍨
Despite her main series appearance only being in Twilight Princess, Midna is a surprisingly pretty popular character. At first, she comes across as rude and s🏅omewhat antagonistic to Link despite their working together. As the game progress♐es, though, it becomes apparent that there is more to Midna than meets the eye.
Although you might not expect it at first, Midna is a princess, and 🦩similar to Zelda, she is a powerful magic user and a defender of the realm. Hyrule would have been doomed without her power behind Link in the Twilight Princess storyline.
8 ❀ Urbosa, The Gerudo Champion
Urbosa is one of the few prominent female Breath of the Wild characters and oh my, was she a smashing hit with the audience. However, it isn't her popularity that makes her a strong and upstanding example of the Legend of Zelda's female characters. Much like the Gerudo Chief, Riju, she manipulates lightning with ease, though she was admittedly much better at it than Riju.
Urbosa was the Gerudo Champion in Breath of the Wild, piloting her Divine Beast, Vah Nabor⛦is. She was dedicated not just to Zelda, but to Hyrule, and trying to establish peace, and in turn🐓, she left a massive impact.
7 ඣ Zelda, Princes💧s Of Hyrule
In Breath of the Wild, Zelda showcased herself to have an extremely strong will as she was dedicated to awakening her powers and saving Hyrule. Tears of the Kingdom is no different, and Zelda only further demonstrates her fierce resolve and🃏 the amount of raw magical power she wields.
There might be questions about who the strongest version of Zelda was prior to Tears of the Kingdom's release, but now? There's no question about it, Zelda from Tears of the Kingdom is by far the strongest and most dedicated version.
6 🐭 Hildaဣ, The Lorule Princess
As seen in A Link Between Worlds, Hilda is a lot like Zelda... just in a different world. She is the ruler of Lorule and a gifted sorceress, too. She is also able to telepathically communicate across great distances. Admittedly, this Legend of Zelda Princess's actions can be a bit questionable as she makes equally questionable decisions when trying to save her Kingdom, but you can't deny her power.
Hilda's power is a bit of an unknown quantity in terms of its full extent. In fact, she almost successfully enacts a plot to not only summon Ganon, but defeat him and claim Hyrule's triforce as her own in an attempt to save her kingdom.
5 Tetra, The Pirate Queen♕
Despite being technically another Zelda, Tetra is a bit of her own thing and tends to deviate from the typical "Zelda girl" mold. After all, she isn't a princess -she's a pirate of all things- has a different personality and even an entirely different lifestyle. Tetra is a strong-willed and savvy pirate captain who commands the closest thing you'll ever see to a military force in all of Wind Waker.
Tetra, as Zelda, also fights Ganondorf with Link at the ꦜend of Wind Waker, and while they succeed, she still returns to some pirate ways. Still, she tries to create a better Hyrule. Between the games Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, she actually helps create a new Hyrule.
4 Nabooru, The Origin✨al Sage Of Spirit 🍌
A Gerudo sage of great talent, Nabooru appears in the game Ocarina of Time. Nabooru acts as the second-in-command of the Gerudo, and while she may not wield the same lightning abilities as Riju and Urbosa, the Gerudo can't help but create some extraordinary women. Her character is memorable for being one of the few to care, act, and plot against Ganondorf.
Her more direct powers are magical and physical as she helps Link in his battle against Ganondorf as the original Sage of Spirit, though it seems that with the release of Tears of the Kingdom, she's not the only stunning Zelda woman to share that title.
3 Mipha, The Zora Champion And Princess 🃏
In Breath of the Wild, Mipha is the princess of the Zora and a chosen Champion ⭕of the Zora, wielding her healing abilities and her cont🌸rol over water to fight and care for her companions. She joins Zelda, Link, and the other Champions when they stand up against Calamity Ganon.
Mipha seems like a gentꩲle soul, but in🌄 the right moments, she can be a fierce warrior as shown when she put up a fight to try and keep control of her Divine Beast. Mipha offers Link what is arguably the most useful one of the four Champions abilities that are collected throughout the game.
