Blending the lines between the modern world and Greek mythology is the show stopping game, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical. This game shakes up the usual story heavy, roleplay genre with a lot of choices, and your ability to change the songs during performances. But it isn’t just the music that has people talking — it's the variety of characters Grace meets along the way.
As Grace works to save her life and solve a mystery, she must make time to get to know the people who make up this new world📖 she finds herself in. Between friends she has known prior, The Chorus that wants her dead, and the new people she meets on the way, this game is filled with interesting characters.
Please beware of spoilers.
10 Venus
Her character might have been a small part, but she leaves you with a long-lasting impression. At a time when the plot takes a heavy turn regarding trauma and healing, Venus is a ray of sunshine.🌳 She is just there to support anꦜd love her mentor in whatever way that Aphrodite needs.
On top of the sweet and charming personality that she holds, it’s just nice to see more diversity in characters. While to some it might feel like such a tiny detail that she is in a wh꧂eelchair, to ♛others it speaks volumes.
9 Minotaur
He is just too cute! During the game, you will come across a lot of different characters, som🍌e sly, some kind, some scary, and then there is just The Minotaur. Everything about this ch😼aracter just makes sense, even though it seems to challenge every concept of what a Minotaur is.
For example, at one point he might offer you tea and ask very nicely not to runℱ so that he doesn’t have to chase you. All this man wants in life is to read a good book and hang out with his love. There is no way that anyone can fault him for that, and it’s that very reason along with some comical quips that leaves you smitten when it comes to his characters.
8 Hermes
Hermes is definitely the Spider-Man of this group. As a younger kid, they're just here to have fun and live their life, while also knowing they have some responsibilities and wanting to do what's best for the overall group.
They don’t really have any motives for you to work out, nor do they have any big scenes or songs. They're just here to add a little snarky humor before transporting Grace from one place to another. But honestly, it's the perfect timing of their visits and the perfectly stated comments they make that will leave you thinking about them when this game is over.
7 Oracle
You can tell that the developers had fun creating these characters and this is one that might be the best reimagined. Not really buying into everything regarding Idols and The Chorus, the Oracle is just a young kid who loves computers and is looking to escape a crap home life. To them, Apollo is just a nice, slightly odd man who allows them to crash during theꦜ day at his house.
Apollo is great, but he’s nothing without the Oracle. Honestly, the best parts of Apollo all revolve around the scenes when the Oracle is there to push ba𒉰ck. It is the banter between the two that allows Apollo to let his guard down a little for us to see more of his character, as well as gain more information to progress the story along.
6 Orpheus
Don’t underestimate the power of song. Orpheus is such a small character, but the overall 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:scene in Hades is probably one of the best. Not only does Orpheus also have the power of music, which completely changes how music has played out before, but his attitude is captivating. Ev🥂en his song completely changes the vibe in seconds.
It's a blend of feeling rightfully upset and hurt, with a bit of angst that makes him very relatable. That's probably why, at the end of the scene, you will have to make the tough decision on who gets to rule the Underworld.
5 Grace
People tend to have strജong feelings about leading roles. Either they are too meek or abrasive, too shy or won’t shut up. It changes per person, but it’s naturally to be more judgy on a character we are supposed to relate the most with. The thing with Stray Gods is, due to all the available choices, you can really set up Grace to be what you want.
For the most part, Grace follows one of three natures, which will have the most impact on how she interacts with others. For example, choosing Kickass might lead Grace to be more fearless and take action which could lead to fighting. Whereas charming allows Grace to be more compassionate and understanding. The choice you make also impacts how certain characters will respond and how easily it will be to win them over. It's also important to note that, depending on which one you choose, certain options will not be available in future conversations. However, even once a nature is chosen, Grace is still very moldable due to songs not holding the same restrictions.
4 Calliope
Along with Grace, the next big lead is Calliope. Now that might seem weird due to the fact that she dies at the very s𒐪tart of the g♓ame, but a lot of the plot revolves around slowly revealing the mystery of who would want to hurt this amazingly, cheerful, loving muse.
Calliope wasn’t just this ball of warmth; she also was the main source that challenged all the Idols. She is probably the most well-rounded character due to the fact that they needed her to have all these different sides to create the mystery. Due to all of that, she tends to be one of the top characters we feel the most draw🅺n t🐷o.
3 Pan
Every set of characters needs the one that loves to play both sides. Or at least appears to play both sides. With Pan, you never know what you might be getting yourself into, or if you will ever be able to trust him, but that's the whole appeal. He is the lovable bad boy type.
Stray Gods is jam packed with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:talented voice actors, but there is somet✤hing in particular about Khary Payton’s voice that just fits so effortlessly with Pan. Even if you might not trust him fully, there is a set of warmth and excitement that pulls you closer and who knows, maybe if you play your cards right, you might open a door of romantic possibilities.
2 ꦰ Persephone ꦜ
Another romantic love interest, Persephone is a wild card who pushed the game up another level. Not only is this another reimagination of what many people pᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚerceive Persephone to look or act like, but the personality of the idol leaves you feeling unsure about which options to choose. This level of unsureness adds risk to the choices you are making. It gives more weight to the decision at your fingertips, which only adds fun to the game.
On top of all of that, this victim-turned-leader is a nice little side plot that adds a break from the major story. Out of all the characters, Persephone works on so many different levels and is the only 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:choice worth considering when the question arises.
1 Freddie
Nothing will ever beat the relationship of best friends. Not only did Freddie just easily accept the idea that her bestie, Grace, was now caught up in💎 some mythology madness, but she was ready to throw down in an instant. Ride 𒁏or die has a whole new meaning after playing Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical.
Freddie was also one of the characters who was writte💧n to create more of a balance between wild plot moments and br🐼eaks of lightheartedness, which sets her up as someone who is going to connect more with you as the story progresses. It’s also why, when the big bad, happens you are left feeling utterly shocked and heartbroken.
