It's no surprise that a game about a stray cat going about its life and saving scraps of humanity is a hit with the internet. Along with the heartwarming storyline and immersive environment, the protagonist is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:based on a real world cat, Murtaugh, and so Stray is filled wi🔴th all the weird quirks that we love our own cats for.
One such hobby most cats seem to share is being able to fall asleep anywhere, at any time, and look great doing it. Stray has even made an achievement for it. Here are all the pl🤡aces you can curl up for a catnap.
Updated on August 23, 2023 by Rosa Baumgartl: Stray took the world by storm with its beautiful design, quirky references, heart-breaking plot line, and cute cat. Though napping in this game is technically unnecessary, it adds to the pacing and reinforces that we are just a cat, exploring a strange new world. We've added a couple of other places you can curl up, if you so choose, and vicariously live out your dream of being a chilled kitty.
11 ❀ Broken Elevatᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚor
Though you'll first encounter the broken down elevator in the Slums, to get to the cozy spot, you'll need to go through Midtown. The elevator shaft is a bright and colorful location, full of companions to converse with, and is helpful when hiding from Zurks. You'll need to find another way to get up to Midtown though, as this elevator won't be starting up again any time soon.
Once you get to Midtown, head to the southwest part of the map to locate the sealed elevator shaft. You can find Bonobot here too — though don't get too friendly with them, as they don't like being nuzzled. Climb to the top of the elevator building and curl up on a mattress in the neon glow.
10 Over✤looking Antvillage
The community inhabiting this misty spot surrounding a giant pipe is a little ramshackle, but pretty peaceful. Right at the top you'll encounter 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Clementine's old friend Zbaltazar meditating, and on the way up there you can bump into Kundelich and little Bilite. They're on the eastern side of the map, and mostly just complain about the neighbor's TV.
However, on a platform above their abode, overlooking the foggy expanse of the sewers, you can find a reasonably comfortable carpet to nap on. It's not the most scenic spot, or even the quietest, but there are Red Plants nearby, which Malo would really appreciate seeing.
9 💞 Morusque The Musician 𓃲
The first spot available for a nap is in the Slums along the streets. Down here you'll likely come across a music-less musician named Morusque. Despite having a guitar and the will, he doesn't have any music in his repertoire. Beside him are a few cushions that you can settle down on for a siesta.
If you 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:collect all eight of𒆙 the scattered music sheets, you'll be awarded the Meowlody Trophy achievement. You can also ask Morusque to play for you while you sleep — the perfect backdrop.
8 The Arguing 🧸Robots
Beside a fire barrel in the Slums, you can come across two robot residents having an argument. One sitting on a couch wearing a conical Asian hat, wildly gesturing at the robot in a loose tartan shawl. Unfortunately, Stray never translates the language you hear throughout the game, so we'll never know what the heated debate was over.
However, meowing at the couple will interrupt them, and they'll face you with a look of incredulity before resuming their argument. If you're happy to listen in, there's a spot beside the seated robot that's perfect for a cat nap.
7 The 𓄧Sleeping Rob𓄧ot
Out on the rooftop beside the entrance to Doc's Library, and the final part of the notebook, you'll find a robot lying on a mattress looking up at another roof, technically. He doesn't seem to be sleeping and keeps twitching and fidgeting around. But, if that doesn't bother you, there's another mattress available beside him.
If you settle in for a nap at any of these locations and leave your controller somewhere safe for an hour, you will unlock a rather sarcastic achievement called Productive Day. Make sure you don't lose internet connection or press any other buttons during this time.
6 🦩 Doc’s Library 🌠
While you're here breaking into Doc's safe and collecting his notebook, why not curl up in this aesthetic little nook of Doc's library? Enter through the window behind the couch and TV (which you can turn on) that are set out on the roof, and find the piano that's holding up a piece of sheet music.
To the left is a shelf with a few cus🐈hions and a gap just big enough for a stray cat. This room is full of things to collect for achievements and game progression, including a spot to scratch.
5 🃏 Fishing 💝Raft
Traversing the murky waters of Dead 🍷End, and through a hole in the wi🍷re fence, your cat companion will come across a carpeted bridge that leads to a wooden raft. Out here, a memory can be reclaimed from the inactive robot who seemingly came to an end here alone.
Why not keep him company, and have a snooze on the colorful cushions piled up beside him? Around the metal body, there are postcards pinned to the walls, and knives embedded above his head. How he came to be like this is unknown, but it's certainly a peaceful spot to spend an hour.
4 Behind The Ni♋ghtclub
By chapter ten, you enter Midtown, which hasn't suffered as much as the Slums or Dead End. By scaling the building where the traffic-cone-wearing robot is sweeping, the cat gains access to a private paradise, out of the rain and above the streets.
Among the cushions and bright patterns, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:B-12 can find an old memory, and will remark how soft the bedding looks, and how they wish they could experience physical sensation. Stay a while and sleep here, for your companion's sake at least.
3 ♍ 💜 Clementine’s Apartment
Dropping in through a hole in a wall, you enter a haven of lo-fi tunes, ambient lightin꧙g, and true greenery. By scratching at a dangling pink scarf and leaping onto the drawer that opens, the 💎cat and B-12 can hop up to a little area featuring a pillow fort and a gramophone.
Beside a blue gem is another note left behind by Clem herself, but don't leave so soon. Settle onto the cushion by the window, and forget about the troubles of humanity for a little while. You are just a cat, after all.
2 On Top Of A Sleeping Robot ▨
On a couch out on the street, beneath a "No Parking" sign and a neon advert, a robot wearing a cowboy hat is ൩minding its own business dozing. Midtown is full of peaceful scenes like this, making it a welcome change from the fear and par♕anoia of the Slums.
It's said cats always find the people that like them least, and decide they're the place to be. This cat is no different, so feel free to leap up onto the cowboy robot's belly — but it's pretty clear he doesn't really mind at all.
