In Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, fishing is delightfully simple, much easier than🐻 the famously tough fishing minigam꧟es in other farming sims.
To fish in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, you'll simply need to approach a body of water and then cast your line with a fishing rod in hand.
Your farmer will cast out, and you'll see the shadow of a fish nibbling at the line. When the fish bites, you'll hear a sound and see an exclamation mark on screen. When playing on a controller, you'll also feel a vibration.
The fish will nip at the line a few times before biting, and reeling in too soon will cause the fish to swim away.
To reel in your catch, click the same button you used to cast. Your farmer will reel in the catch, and then you'll see the name, size, and weight of the fish you caught!
You only need to tap the button to reel in, so save your stamina and skip the button-m⭕ashing☂.
Where To Go Fishing
There are five spots in Story of Seasons💜: A Wonderful Life f🎐or fishing. They are:
- Upper River over by the waterfall and the Dig Site.
- Lower River, on the opposite side of the bridge between your farm and Vesta's downriver.
- Goddess Pond in the Forest by where the Nature Sprites live, the pond you visit each Spring to check for the Goddess.
- Turtle Pond, where the large turtle occasionally appears between Gustafa and Gordy's yards.
- The Ocean, which is accessed at the entirety of the beach without splitting into subsections.
You catch different fish in each fishing spot, more so as🐭 you collect new fishing rods, so be sure you're diversifying your Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Li𒀰fe fishing locations.
How To Get A Fishing Rod
Thankfully, your fishing rod upgrades can be purchased outright as soon as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Van stocks the upgrades in his store when he visits.
Van having fishing rod upgrades in stock is reflective of how many fish you've caught so far🎀. The more you catch, the more💖 likely it is that Van will have a fishing rod upgrade.
Keep checking🏅 at Van's shop when he visits to see if you've caught enough to upgrade!

Every progressively better fishing rod can catch all fish up to that level. For example, the Silver Fishing Rod unlocks new fish to catch, but you'll still be able to catch everything the Fishing ꦐRod and the Copper Fishing Rod could catch in that location.
How To Get The Blessed Fishing Rod
After you've bought the Golden Fishing Rod from Van as normal, you'll find a Bulletin Board request from Gary.
He's asking for any rare fish, whichꦐ are the ones you'll b🥃e finding with the Golden Rod in exchange for a special fishing rod.
Giving him a fish rewards you with the Blessed Fishing Rod, the best fis♌hing rod in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.
This will allow you to fish up a Message in a Bottle and a Blade of Legend from the Ocean, as well as a Golden Axe from the Goddess Pond, all of which are decoration for your home.
