In the world of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Starfield, few past events are nearly so tragic as the Terror of Londinion. The planet-ravaging chaos erupted from an unforeseeable source, but the final carnage occurred by distinctly human hands. It's a cautionary tale, and a darn scary one, at that.

The Colony War is𝔉n't the first time the United Colonies and Freestar Collective have come to blows in Starfield. But it's still a big deal.

An exhibit in New Atlantis' UC Navy museum will give you the gist, and a trip down the UC Vanguard faction's questline will tell you the rest. But for an overview of the ordeal that'll prime you for a richer understanding once you've committed to helping newfound ally Hadrian complete her mission, read on.

The Terrormorph Outbreak

Collecting a Terrormorph sample on Londinion in Starfield

The Terrormorph is native to the planet Toliman II. Right off the bat, this is damning; after all, the city of Londinion was a colony on this world. Humanity's catastrophic first encounter with these creatures erupted at some point during the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Colony War, a resur🌺gence in hostilities between the United Colonies and their Freestar Collective rivals.

To be clear, this outbreak had nothing to do with the Colony War itself. Rather, the colonists of Londinion aided in the United Colonies' war effort via supply production and shipment. Our species already knew Terrormorphs existed here; after all, the UC Xenowarfare Division had run a number of containment tests, viewing the dread creatures as potentially tama🍎ble for use in their fight against the Collective.

As any cautionary sci-fi author could have predicted, the Terrormorphs were not tamable. The full extent of their abilities would soon be brought to bear upon Londinion, as the full-scale outbreak soon took place.

Woe To The Vanquished

The stationed soldiers fought a brave but losing battle. Whether they might have eventually turned the tide is something we'll simply never know; history turned a dark page when Fleet Admiral François Sanon temporarily departed from the C♔olony War frontlines.

Upon his arrival in orbit above Toliman II, Sanon assessed the situation and made a grim call: Londinion's spaceport was to be bombed at once, preventing the Terrormorphs from getting off-world at the cost of every citizen and soldier on the planet.

To say the United Colonies 'won' the day would be a gross disservice to the thousands whose lives were extinguished in one fell swoop. What's more - and for reasons which would get into deep spoiler territory in the UC Vanguard questline, so we'll refrain from going into detail - despite Sanon's decision, Terrormorph outbreaks would continue throughout the Settled Systems. Albeit not to the extent seen on Toliman II.

In our estimation, the 'Terror of Londinion' applies as much to the actions of a Machiavellian man as the monsters themselves.
