After playing 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Starfield for a little while, you'll already get your first companion called Vasco when you board the Frontier for the first time. As you progress the main story, you'll start getting some human companions as well. These companions can either be assigned somewhere or asked to follow you around.
Some of these NPCs are also candidates for romance, which allows you to form a relationship or even marry them. You might also want to change your commitment if you resonateꦏ with a different candidate. Th🎐ankfully, the game lets you do that quite easily.
How To Marry An NPC
The first thing to note here is that you can only marry a few of your companions like Sarah Morgan, Andreja, Barrett, and Sam Coe. To start romanc𝓰ing any of these characters, you first have to 🅠continue the main story until you unlock them as a companion, which happens fairly quickly for Sarah Morgan.
After that, you can focus on a few mechanics to get close to any companion you want quickly:
- Always ask them to follow you around since you can slowly get closer to them as you finish various Missions and explore different planets while they follow you.
- You'll get various options to choose from in almost every dialogue in Starfield. While most of these dialogues don't change the story, you still have to pay attention since your companion might like, love, or dislike some of the options. This can take you closer or further away from the NPC.
- You'll get an activity to talk to the companion you want to date at random points, and these can be used to get closer to them as well. Try to avoid the [Flirt] option in these dialogues at the start since the NPCs won't like them too much.
Once you get close enough to any NPC, a special quest to start a commitment with them will trigger. The first quest will allow you to get into a relationship with them, while the second one lets you marry them. While 💛married, companions will scavenge random resources for you and sleep in the same꧙ bed.
How To Divorce An NPC
Once you're committed to an NPC, putting a full stop to the relationship or divorcing them is much easier. Simply trigger a dialogue with the NPC and look for an option along the lines of "How do you feel about our relationship/marriage". When they tell you that they feel good about it, you'll get an option to end it all.
Of course, the NPC will be taken aback and there will be a few emotional dialogues about their heart breaking, but they'll respect your wishes in the end. You have to click on the dialogue with "[End Commitment]" to go through with the process. The 🃏companion will then consider you an ally instead of a partner🍸.
They'll also be angry with you and stop being your active companion for a little while.
Keep in mind that you won't be able to romance the same NPC again in that playthrough.
