If you've played 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Starfield for even a bit, you've probably come across a locked safe, chest, or computer. These items can be unlocked using the lock-picking mechanic in the game, but it'll make people angry at you if you get detected while stealing from their property. This can give you a bad reputation and even get you arrested.
However, taking the risk of using this mechanic is always worth it since you can get a ton of free loot if you execute it properly. Here's how you can easily get past the lockpick mini-game and get valuable items hidden behind these locks.

How To Solve The Lockpick Minigame
Whenever you get near a locked item and hover over it, you'll see the name of the item along with a red mark and the interaction mentioning the difficulty of a lock (Novice, Advanced, Expert, and Master). You'll get into the lockpick minigame if you decide to press the required button.
The red mark on locked items and other interactables symbolizes that they're someone's property.
If you get caught picking up or messing with these items, you'll get a bounty and security will come after you.
In the minigame, you'll see some large with gaps in the middle and some smaller circles with tiny sticks on them to the right. You essentially need to slot the correct sticks to fill all the gaps in the main circles in the middle. This can be done by selecting one of the combi🧜nations 🐬on the right and rotating them to fit the gaps.
All sticks on a particular combination need to fit a gap in the circle. Once you achieve that, you can press the "Slot Key" button to place it in. Depending on the Security Level of the lock, you can have multiple circles and combinationꦯs. As the difficulty increases, fake combinations will also s💜tart appearing on the right side.
These fake combinations might fit in the gaps of a particular circle, but they'll prevent you from solving the entire puzzle.
It's recommended to place all combinations in their respective slots first without activating them. Once you get all the gaps filled, you can switch back to the combinations and slot them in. If you happen to slot a wrong combination, you will either ha🧔ve to use the Undo option or exit the puzzle and enter again.
Both of these options consume a Digipick, so it's better to exit and come back in if you have to perform more than one Undo. Although, the puzzle changes when you reset it by exiting. Y💖ou can also use the Auto Slot feature to automatically slꦆot one combination, but this recharges slowly after being used.
The surrounding NPCs only get angry at you if they detect you while you successfully lockpick an item.
How To Pick Difficult Locks
You'll be able to pick the Novice level locks from the start of the game, but you'll have to upgrade a certain Skill to be able to start the minigame on higher difficulty locks like Advanced, Master, and Expert. This Skill can be found in the Tech tab, and it's called Security. You'll have to pick a certain number of locks after unlocking a level of this Skill.
As you get to higher levels, you can get more Auto Slots as well. Higher-level locks increase the number of circles and fake combinations. It's recommended to save your Auto Slot function for Expert or Master locks only, and you can also use up a Digipick to remove all the fake keys at the maximum Security level.
After getting the second Rank of the Security Skill, you'll unlock an upgrade that highlights the large circle with a blue color if the combination you currently have can fit in the slots. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that it's the right combination.
How To Get Digipicks
With the sheer value of items you can get from unlocking different items in the game, Digipicks become one of the most sought-after resources. These items are hard to find at the start of the game, but you can easily farm them once you get to certain places. Here's how you can get Digipicks in Starfield:
Exploring Abandoned Outposts
While you're trying to survey a planet, you'll regularly come across abandoned structures that are taken over by hostile groups like Pirates. These structures are a great source for Digipicks since♔ you can find them on Pirate bodies after defeating them or search the lockers and chests in the area.
This item is mostly found in white-colored lockers. It can be quite easy to miss them, so make sure you hover over each item in the area since you can see its name as you do that.
Buying It From Different Vendors
This might not be the most efficient way to get Digipicks, but it's a possibility nonetheless. As you visit various cities in different Star Systems, you'll come across various NPCs that'll have something to sell you. Some of these NPCs can have Digipicks in stock, but you'll only get two to four from each.
Moreover, this stock usually doesn't refresh, which means you can only buy them from each NPC once. The cost of buying Digipicks also makes the value you get from it lesser. The Trade Aut𒊎hority vendors are us𓄧ually a great source of finding Digipicks.
Accepting Certain Missions
Finally, the best way to farm Digipicks during the late game is by finding a faction called the Ryujin Industries and progressing their missions. These missions already give two Digipic𒀰ks on almost all of them, but the✅ main farming starts after you unlock your personal office and a computer to accept missions.
Most of these missions give you two Digipicks, and you only have to use one to finish it. Moreover, you can get repeated missions from it, which means that you won't even need to use a Digipick to finish it. These missions reset every in-game day, allowing you to farm as many Digipicks as you want.
