The Abyss Trekker is a beefy ship in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Starfield designed for extended exploration missions. While it may have an odd design and🌜 look unbalanced, it is probably one of the more stable off-the-shelf ships available for purchase in the game. What it lacks in engine power it more than makes up for in living sp♎ace and amenities.

Starfield's a game about traveling through space. We'd 🧜like to travel in style. Or with really big guns. Or with really big guns, in style.

Its stock weapons are decent, but you should upgrade them if space combat is your thing. The Abyss Trekker was designed with the Explorer or Professor backgrounds in mind, but it can be easily modified to suit your needs. If you 🃏long to discover the mysteries of the universe, then the Abyss Trekker is for you.

Where To Find The Abyss Trekker

Porrima on Starfield Star Map

The Abyss Trekker can be found in Paradiso, which is in the Porrima star system, a level 30 system. On your star map, scroll until the꧋ Kryx system is at the top and center of your screen, and Porimma is due south of the Kryx system, next to the Jaffa system.

O𝐆n the Xbox,🧜 press and hold the right bumper on your controller to display the names of all star systems.

Inside the Porrima System find Porimma II, a temperate planet with two moons. Paradiso is located on Porimm🎶a II.

Once you land in Paradiso, look for a Ship Service Techni꧙cian, usually found near the yellow Trade Authority kiosks. This guy was standing by a shipping container to the right of the yellow ki🌳osk.

Since Paradiso is a resort town, the technicians here don't look like other techs on planets with breathable air. The Paradiso technicians sport 💛fancy uniforms, and you almost mistake them for porters waiting to carry your luggage.

Abyss Trekker Technician Dialogue

Talk to the technician and select, "Let me see what ships you have for sale", in the dialogue menu. This will bring up a screen showing you𝓡 what ships are o♒ffered in Paradiso.

Abyss Trekker Comparative Stats

You can purchase the Abyss Trekker for just over 358K credits, but if you have any points in the Co♉mmerce skill, this price will be significantly lower. It's also good to have a little extra set aside for some needed upgrades.

First, for a ship this size, you would expect the cargo capacity to be a lot larger. Even the Frontier, the tiny Class A ship you fly at the start of the game, has a larger cargo hold than this one, so consider adding some storage if you tend to hoard resources.

Abyss Trekker Stats

The grav jump distance on the Abyss Trekker is near the max, as all ships in Starfield are capped at a 30 LY limit, so it may not be worth upgrading the jump drive to make up those last few𓃲 points. Once you add a heavier grav drive, you'll likely need to upgrade your engines and reactor, whic🧜h is a downward spiral that always leaves you broke.

If you absolutely must max out your jump range, consider dropping a skill point in the Astrodynamics skill. Doing so will increase your grav jump range by 15%, which brings the Abyss Trekker to a 28-light-year rang✨e and saves you thousands of 🧸dollars.

Abyss Trekker in flight

The Abyss Trekker comes with༺ three standard weapon systems:

  1. PBO-300 Auto Alpha Beam (PAR), which does 19 hull and 19 shield damage.
  2. CE-49 Missile Launcher (MSL), which does 96 hull and 96 shield damage.
  3. Marauder 115N Rail Gun Turret (BAL), which does 97.20 hull and 28.8 shield damage.

These are decent for minor scuffles, but they won't fend off a band of Crimson Fleet ships, especially in more difficult star systems. Consider upgrading the missile pod, and definitely sw♚ap out the weak particle beam cannon.

Abyss Trekker Amenities

Abyss Trekker Featured

One of the greatest features of the Abyss Trekker is the sheer space you have available. The ship comes standard with a couple of 2x2 habitations, which are uncommon an🤡d not readily available for purchase from ship tecꦫhnicians.

Living Quarters

The first 2x2 habitation module is the Stroud Living Quarters, which has enough room to accommodate a full crew. This area features a spacious living room, a toilet/shower room, and an office; however, there are no beds or a cooking station in this area.

Computer Core

The other 2x2 habitation module is a Stroud Computer Core. This hab is geared towards exploration and adds to the ship's storage capacity while also increasing the number of crew members your ship can have, as there are no crafting stations in this area.

Infirmary

The Abyss Trekker houses a small 2x1 infirmary, which has a Pharmaceutical Lab to craft healing aids, and a Research Lab to research crafting upgrades.

Engineering Bay

The Stroud 3x1 Engineering Bay sits under the cockpit. It adds to the ship's hull strength and allows for an extra crew member, and there are no crafting stations in this bay.

Cockpit

From the outside of the ship, the cockpit looks kind of small; however, the inside paints a different picture. The cockpit holds the pilot's seat and room for four passengers, comes with plenty of room to walk around, and even has t🌺he standard cargo access panel and captain's locker.

Changing Habitations

To swap out the 2x2 habitation modules, go directly to the Stroud-Eklund office in Neon Core. There you have the option 🐭to swap out your ꧟modules for:

  • Battle Stations
  • Brig
  • Cargo Haul

Each of these comes with added benefits to crew size and hull strength. While you're at it, swap out the Engineering Bay for an All-In-One-Berth, which will give you a kitchen and a bed.

Overall, the Abyss Trekker is capable of handling any mission. It needs more cargo space and some weapon upgrades, but it is a great ღship with which 🍷to explore the galaxy.
