The caveat with the endlessness of Skull Cavern, though, is that there's no elevator system like there is in the mines back home, meaning you'll need to start from the first floor every single time you enter.

Thankfully, you can occasionally find mine shafts as you bust rocks and ore nodes around Skull Cavern. These black holes in the floor that appear beneath broken rocks

And while you'll have plenty of the same resources that were available in the Pelican Town mines, you'll now have better odds to find better ores and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:monster loot. For example, your chance of finding 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Iridium Nodes increases as you go deeper into Skull Cavern, eventu🍌ally guaranteeing you at least one node at certain depths.

Unique Types Of Floors

While the majority of Skull Cavern is fairly straightforward and similar in structure to the Pelican Town mines, you'll periodically find two unique kinds of floors in Skull Cavern: Mummy Floors and Prehistoric Floors.

You'll know you've found a Mummy Floor when the decor is notably ancient Egyptian in nature, and they look like a pharaoh's tomb to boot. Here, you'll find Mummies, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:monsters that can be KO'd with your swords or slingshots, but they'll respawn at full health in 10 seconds unless you leave a bomb near them to finish the job.

Meanwhile, on Prehistoric Floors, you'll find yourself in an old jungle environment surrounded by dinosaurs called Pepper Rex. These monsters are capable of shooting fire from their mouths ꦕat you, but the💖y're also a reliable way to collect Dinosaur Eggs for use back home.

The Mutant Flies that spawn here as well are unique, with small chances to drop Diamonds or Prismatic Shards as loot. It's not a re𓆉liable way to farm them, but it is possible.

Finally, you'll also find random treasure rooms. While not unique to Skull Cavern, these floors simply contain a treasure chest and a path to the next floor. And while most of Skull Cavern is random, every 100 floors will be a treasure room every time you visit.
