While you have always been able to ask Leo's parrot for hints as to where the remaining Golden Walnuts are scattered around Ginger Island, having a one-sentence hint isn't the most helpful. This is where the🌺 Golden Joja Parrot comes in. You can hire the Golden Joja Parrot to find the walnuts for you.

Where Is The Golden Joja Parrot?

Stardew Valley: An image of the map of Ginger Island, with the player's cursor hovering over the location of the Golden Joja Parrot

To find the Golden Joja Parrot, you first need to have repaired Willy's Boat and h♛ave access to 🍸Ginger Island. Once you are able to travel to Ginger Island, pay 1,000g for the ferry, then head to the island's northernmost area, the Volcano Dungeon.

Head to the far left of the Volcano Dungeon and you will see the Golden Joja Parrot perched on a little branch.

While you're in this area, you can also use a secret entrance to get to the Golden Walnut in the treeline. Try using a torch to illuminate areas you can enter, or keep walking along the treeline until one spot lets you in.

What Does The Golden Joja Parrot Do?

Stardew Valley: The player stands in front of the Golden Joja Parrot

The Golden Joja Parrot exists for a very specific purpose – getting paid to find walnuts. If you talk to the Golden Joja Parrot, it will give you a speech bubble with three gold coins in it and ask you to pay it a hefty sum of money. In exchange for your gold, the parrot will search all of Ginger Island and bring you every possible Golden Walnut.

Golden Walnuts are the currency of Ginger Island, and outside of the Ginger Island merchant's stall, it's the only currency you can use on the island. You need Golden Walnuts to build the Resort, unlock the various Parrot Express Stations, open the Dig Site, and get unlock Qi's Golden Walnut Room. In short, you need Golden Walnuts for🦄 everything.

While the Golden Joja Parrot sounds convenient in theory, it's actually very costly in practice. For every Golden Walnut that you are missing, the Golden Joja Parrot will demand 10,000 coins in return. This means that using the parrot's services can really addꦗ up, especially when you ♓are in the beginning stages of your Golden Walnut hunt.

If you're dead set on taking the parrot approach, be prepared to shell out an exorbitant sum of money. There are 130 Golden Walnuts possible for you to obtain on Ginger Island and for every Golden Walnut you're missing, you'll need to add 10,000g to your payment calculations.

If you're missing the full 130 Golden Walnuts, the fee you would pay the Golden Joja Parrot would be 1,300,000g! With this in mind, the best strategy for using the parrot is to wait until you are absolutely unable to obtain or find more Golden Walnuts. The fewer walnuts you are missing, the better the parrot's fee will be.

You don't have to wander the island blindly in search of Golden Walnuts. If you're struggling to find the missing walnuts, try talking to Leo's parrot friend. Leo's parrot will give you a hint about which Golden Walnuts you're missing and where you can find them. Not all of the Golden Walnuts will be hiding in plain si𝓀ght.

If you're still having difficulty finding the walnuts or deciphering Leo's parrot's hints, you can head to our 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Golden Walnut location guide for an in-depth walk-through of how to get each missing walnut.

Is Using The Golden Joja Parrot Worth It?

Stardew Valley: Leo's Parrot gives the player a hint

Because the Golden Joja Parrot asks for such a large sum of money, we don't recommend using its services unless you have no interest in the Golden Walnut hunt, or you cannot possibly find them all on your own.

To unlock every single parrot-powered upgrade on Ginger Island, you only need 116 Golden Walnuts, and to unlock Qi's Walnut Room, you only need 100 Golden Walnuts. That makes the remaining 14 walnuts out of the full 130 mostly unnecessary. So, paying for the Golden Joja Parrot's services would mean losing at least 140,000g on walnuts you don't strictly need.

If you take the last 14 walnuts into consideration, it would be more resource-efficient for you to find the Golden Walnuts on your own. Ult🍷imately, the choice is yours, but the math is not in your favor.
