Jel🙈lies are little buff-giving blobs that you can catch while fishing in Stardew Valley. Here, you can learn about all three types of Jellies.

The is a fish that can be found exclusively in the waterfalls of Cindersap Forest. To catch the Goby, you'll need to ൩be equipped with a quality rod, some tasty fish bait, a good lure, and lots and lots of patience. Despite being available at all times, the catch rate on this slippery fish is pretty low.

Where To Find The Goby

Stardew Valley: A map of the Goby's whereabouts with the location indicated by the cursor on the bottom left

Not all fish inhabit the same waters, and while some fish might be caught in multiple places, the Goby isn't one of them. Unfortunately, there is only one spot where you can find and catch the Goby: the twin waterfalls of Cindersap Forest.

To find the Goby's special waters, head down to the southeastern corner of Cindersap Forest and park yourself by the waterfalls. You'll find the twin waterfalls to the left of where spring onions grow and where you can enter the sewer grate.

The bad news is you can only catch the Goby in these two waterfalls in Cindersap Forest, but the good news is that you can catch the Goby at any time of day and during any season or weather. This means you won't need to plan for a r♊ainy day to devote time to catching the Goby.

How To Catch The Goby

Stardew Valley: The player fishes in the Goby's waterfall

The Goby is one of Stardew's more elusive fish, and catching it won't be easy. The catch rate for the Goby is a measly 15 percent, and while that may so꧟und like a lot, that 15 percent 💝is competing with quite a few other fish in the proverbial sea.

To boost your chances of hooking this strange new fish, you will need to bring your best rod, bait, and lure with you.

To catch the Goby, head to the twin waterfalls of Cindersap Forest and cast into the two pools at the bottom of the waterfall. Casting your rod into the lake won't work for this one, and all you'll end up with is lake fish. You'll still get lake fish in the waterfalls, but you will at least have a chance at the Goby.

In order to make sure you're fishing in the right area, make sure that when you cast your rod, it's landing in either one of the bottom two pools of the waterfalls. Both the left and right waterfalls contain the Goby, but only if you cast into the lower pools.

Best Bait And Lure For The Goby

Best Bait

Like all other fish in Stardew's 1.6 Update, the Goby now has its own special bait: Goby Bait. To get Goby bait, you can either buy it from Willy, who randomizes the kind of bait he sells in his shop daily, or you can place a Goby into the new Bait Maker.

Placing a fish in the Bait Maker will give you anywhere from five to ten specialized bait pieces for the input fish. So, if you input the Goby, you'll get around five to ten pieces of Goby Bait. Goby Bait will improve your chances of catching a Goby to 35 percent. That's a solid 20-point increase!

However, the likelihood of acquiring Goby Bait before you have ever caught the Goby is slim. There's no guarantee on what specialized bait Willy will sell on any given day, and in order to use the Bait Maker to get Goby Bait, you first need to have a Goby. Thus, using Goby Bait to increase your chances of catching the fish is more helpful later in your playthrough.

If you have a Telephone in your house, you can call Willy's shop to see what his inventory is for the day.

Best Lure

The best lure for the Goby is the Curiosity Lure. The Curiosity Lure increases your chances of catching rare fish. In the case of the Goby, your chances increase from 15 percent to 30 percent, effectively doubling your chances of catching it.

If you're low on stamina (or patience), consider using the new Sonar Lure instead. The Sonar Lure will tell you what fish you have hooked on your line after you've entered the fishing mini-game screen. The fish's image will show up in a text bubble on the upper right side of the fishing bar.

Using the Sonar Lure will let you know when you've hooked the right fish and can save you energy in t🦹he long run, if you choose to release any fish tﷺhat isn't the one you're looking for.

What Do You Need The Goby For?

Thereare no quests or bundles that require the Goby fish, but you can use the Goby for any cooking or crafting recipe that requires a non-specified fish. Currently, those recipes are Quality Fertilizer, the Maki Roll, and Sashimi.

The Goby is a poisonous fish. While it can safely be used in the Maki Roll and Sashimi, do not eat the Goby whole. Doing so will inflict Energy Drain and will not restore any of your HP.

The Goby also isn't a particularly popular present for the inhabitants of Pelican Town. Gifting the Goby to a villager will at best inspire a neutral response, and at worst, hatred. Evelyn, Haley, and Pierre all hate the Goby 🦋fish,🍷 so it's best not to gift it to them.

There are no villagers that love or like the Goby fish.

Fans of fashion will rejoice to learn that the Goby fish can be used in the Sewing Machine. Combining the Goby with a bolt of cloth in the Sewing Machine will give you the Fish Shirt, a black T-shirt with a 🍨gray fish emblazoned on the front.

If you are interested in farming the Goby, you can place a Goby into the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fish Pond to farm Goby Roe.
