This brings us to 'The Droidsmith' main quest, which sees Kay break into an Imperial Base to break Gadeek out, a skilled Droidsmith who will make a crucial member of her team. But, as you can expect, this is no simple feat and🅘 requires lots of planning and sneaking around!

The Droidsmith Quest Walkthrough: Speak To Surat

To begin 'The Droidsmith,' head to Akiva's Orbit, then dock the Trailblazer on the planet of Akiva. Once here, head into the Cantina and speak with the Bartender to obtain information on where to find Surat.

Follow the waypoint, enter the room to meet Surat, and trigger a cutscene. After Kay makes a deal with Surat, she will learn the location of Gadeek and will have to break into an Imperial Base to get him out.

The Droidsmith Quest Walkthrough: Find A Way Inside The Imperial Base

Hop on your Speeder and follow the waypoint until you're just outside of the Imperial Base. You will see two Stormtroopers standing guard in front of a laser door. Have Nix attack the one on the right and stun the one on the left with your Blaster the moment Nix attacks them, then quickly run up and finish off the other.

Use your Slicing Kit to hack the data port and turn the lasers off, then enter the area and scale the sizeable yellow wall to the outside platform.

Entering The Imperial Base

Once on top of the platform, you will see three guards to the left. Wait for the two walking together to pass you and walk to the other end of the platform, then stun the lone guard standing behind the terminal.

Eventually, the two guards walking together will separate. When they do, take the one down closest to you first, then sneak behind the remaining one and quietly take care of them as well. From here, access the terminal the first guard was at, then head to the left of it toward the large door.

There will be a turret above this door. Use your Blaster to shock it and destroy it, then open the door, but don't enter. Look up and to the right to spot another turret. Shock this turret 🐼with your Blaster as well. Make sure not to shoot it with your lase🍰rs, you don't want to make noise here!

Ensure you are standing outside when you shock the ♛second turret or the two guards inside the building will hear you and will become alerted to your position. Executing it while standing outside won't have them detect you. If they do spot you, quickly dispatch them and any others in the area before they can sound the alarm!

Pushing Further Into The Imperial Base

With both turrets destroyed, quickly move straight ahead through the hallway and into the control room. There will be a guard here. Sneak up on him and take him down, then access the computer. From here, exit the door into a large room with three guards.

There will be a guard dead center of the room in the far back of the room and one guard on your left and another to your right. Use your Blaster and stun the one dead center, then sneak behind the other two and take them down. With all the guards down, take the lift in the right corner of the room.

In the next area, make your way over to the vent and take it into another room, then use your grappling hook to clear a large gap and scale a wall that eventually leads to another vent. Take the vent to get into the next section of the mission!

The Droidsmith Quest Walkthrough: Turning Off Gadeek's Turret

After following the vent, you will eventually land in a large room with a turret hanging in the center that will lock onto you and fire a barrage of bullets. You must find a way to turn the turret off, which can be a bit tricky at first.

Use the cover, move to the left, and crouch behind the wall. Using your Blaster, shock the turret to temporarily stun it, giving you time to keep moving toward the lefthand side of the room. You will see an energy barrier in the lower left corner of the room. Make your way over there, periodically stunning the turret when needed.

Once you are beside the energy barrier, command Nix to go on the other side of the barrier and turn the switch off. With the energy barrier taken care of, make your way into the room and take the lift to the upper section of the area.

Here, you will find a lever in the center of the room, throw it to call a crate toward you on an elevated conveyor system. Stand near it and command Nix to throw the switch again, sending it back in the opposite direction. Grab onto the right side of the crate and ride it into the control room. Access the computer to turn the turret off, then take the elevator behind the turret up to Gadeek.

The Droidsmith Quest Walkthrough: Escape The Imperial Base

Taking the elevator up will bring you to a large room just before Gadeek. Enter the door in the far right corner of the room to trigger a cutscene that will have Gadeek agree to join Kay's crew. After the cutscene, Gadeek will eventually open the backdoor to his room, allowing Kay to exit.

Escape The Imperial Base

Upon exiting Gadeek's room, a group of Stormtroopers will notice you, so go loud and dispatch all of them. From there, exit through the door on the right side of the room, which will lead you directly to more guards. Open up on them as well, and continue pushing꧟ forward.

You will eventually reach a lift, but it will stall, having you fight off several waves of guards before it becomes available, after which you can take to the upper area. Once here, there will be even more more guards, deal with them and continue pushing forward until you reach the outside deck of the Imperial Base.

Once here, there will be more guards; take care of them, then make your way to the far side of the deck. There will be a branch hanging over the base. Use your grappling hook to swing out of the base and to the outside. Follow the pathway forward and scale the cliffside to reach your Speeder.

This will complete the mission, allowing you to drive the Speeder outside of the Imperial zone and fast travel back to the Trailblazer or wherever you please!
