With the release date announcement also came a second trailer that's more focused on the game's story, revealing some new and exciting details and characters not seen in the original 2023 gameplay footage.

While protagonists Kay Vess, droid ND-5, and the always sweet and mischievous Nix take front and center, we were given more insight into the villains, enemy types, and ဣside characters who will help sha🦩pe your criminal underworld Star Wars journey. Here are all the new and returning characters from the canon in Outlaws!

Updated on June 16, 2024, by Dennis Moiseyev: With the timeline of Star Wars Outlaws set in between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi and the game designed as an open-world experience, there are guaranteed to be countless NPCs and main characters from the canon joining Kay in this new video game outing. The new trailers and gameplay content from Summer Game Fest and the 2024 Ubisoft Forward teased many new important characters which have now been added here.

Kay Vess And Nix

This adventure in a galaxy far, far away will put you in the shoes of protagonist Kay Vess alongside her adorable axolotl💎-inspired Merqꦓaal companion Nix, who both channel a Mando and Grogu a🌱nd Cal Kestis and BD-1 vibe.

Kay is a scoundrel character voiced by Humberly González from Ginny & Georgia, and her performance already makes her 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a staಌndout female character in Star Wars canon. Nix will help to fetch weapons for Kay, cause distractions, as well as accompany her in chases, and will be voiced by Dee Bradl༺ey Baker, who also voices The Bad Batch 𒉰and Clone Troopers in Star Wars.

Dee Bradley Baker has been know♛n to voice his share of cute animal companions in the past, such as Eagly in Peacemaker, Sebastꦇian in Suicide Squad, and Perry the Platypus in Phineas and Ferb.

ND-5

ND-5 is like a more serious version of Chewbacca to Kay Vess' scoundrel character, and he also happens to be a BX-series droid commando in a trench coat. He sounds very no-nonsense and is there to protect Kay, clearly demonstrated by how he attacked a bounty hunter after her.

ND-5's voice actor is confirmed to be Jay Rincon, who starred in Cobweb and The Beekeeper and previously voiced P-3 and Sergey Nechaev in the English dub of Atomic Heart. Another thing to note is that this droid has definitely seen battle due to the possible lightsaber mark across his chest, and it may even be tied to his backstory of the Clone Wars and perhaps even joining the Droid Gotra.

Jaylen Vrax

While Jaylen Vrax gives off a Cobb Vanth or Victor Sullivan vibe, he's certainly no friend of Kay's and ND-5's. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:He finds the duo aboard their ship to deliver a proposition that Kay rob all of the Zerek Besh's fortune in order to get her freedom back from their pursuit of her.

He's one of the main characters to shape Kay Vess' story, as he sends her on a path to pull off a dangerous heist that would cripple the Zerek Besh, one of the primary villains in the game. His overall character, however, still remains a mystery.

Danka

Danka is a new Mon Calamari character created for Star Wars Outlaws, and will also play a major role in Kay's story missions. She first appeared in the gameplay 🎶trailer unveiled in the summer of𒐪 2023, where you learned Kay completed a missio🧸n for Danka that involved stealing an object fr🎐om the Pyke Syndicate.

She's somewhat of a Greef Karga or even Maz Kanata-type figure who gives quests to fellow outlaw scoundrels. Her base of operations in a bar establishment called Jaunta's Hope on the planet Toshara feels reminiscent of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's locations of Pyloon's Saloon and Doma Dendra's antiquities shop on Koboh.

Sliro

The story trailer starts out with the introduction of Star Wars Outlaws' big bad main antagonist Sliro, a criminal who heads the Zerek Besh crime syndicate. 🅰You see h🌠im meeting with the representatives from the Pyke Syndicate, Crimson Dawn, and the Hutt Cartel on Canto Bight.

He believes "it's a golden age for the underworld" since the Empire is too busy dealing with rebels at the height of the galactic war, and Kay Vess appears to be a thorn in his side throughout the game, which is why he's after her. This new Star Wars villain will be voiced by Caolan Byrne, who starred in the TV series Titanic: Blood and Steel, The Miniaturist, and the Das Boot.

The trailer reveals that Kay Vess presumably stole her ship from the Zerek Besh, escaping their soldiers in the process, and is maybe whatꦑ lands her in hot water with Sliro.

Vail

Boba Fett and Fennec Shand have received some unexpected competition during this period, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:as a new bounty ౠhunter has j𝕴ust entered the chat in the St🃏ar Wars universe. Her name is Vail, and she was hired by Sliro to hunt Kay Vess, whom he calls "one of the best hunꦕters in the Outer Rim."

Her outfit and overall aesthetic feel very Jango Fett and The Mandalorian, given the breastplate (which might be beskar) and the ammo belt around it, as well as the comms headset. You also learn that ND-5 and Kay Vess meet for the first time when the droid s๊teps in to rescue her from being captured by Vail during the mission where you search the shipwreck on Toshara for its nav computer.

Lady Qi'ra And The Crimson Dawn

As we all hoped for, Qi'ra and the Crimson Dawn will return in Star Wars Outlaws. A representative from her syndicate draped in red was present at the meeting with Sliro in the story trailer's opening, and Game Informer has released Lady Qi'ra's in-game appearance, .

Qi'ra was first created for the prequel movie Solo: A Star Wars Story where she was revealed to be working for Maul in the Crimson Dawn and was Han Solo's former flame. It's confirmed Kay Vess will cross paths with her (with a glimpse of them meeting in the new trailer), and since there was a canonical comic storyline with the Crimson Dawn auctioning off Han in carbonite to the Hutts, there's sure to be a reference to that somewhere in Outlaws.

Jabba The Hutt And Salacious B. Crumb

The 2023 gameplay trailer revealed the game would be set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi (3ABY - 4ABY). There was also a tease of Tatooine and Jabba the Hutt receiving Han in carbonite, but now the story trailer reveals you will indeed be visiting Jabba's Palace.

Just as Luke Skywalker would later seek an audience with Jabba in the throne room, Kay Vess approaches Jabba with the Kowkian pet jester Salacious B. Crumb present by the Hutt Cartel leader's side. A rancor was also seen in the previous trailer, so maybe Kay Vess also gets to be the guest of honor of the creature down below after the interaction with Jabba.

Bib Fortuna

There can't be Jabba the Hutt without also Bib Fortuna, the Hutt Clan leader's majordomo, and you finally get a glimpse of the character being present by his side. While you saw how Bib Fortuna's story ended at the hands of Boba Fett in The Mandalorian Season Two, you'll get to see more of the creepy pale, red-eyed Twi'lek in the time before Return of the Jedi.

Since there's an ent🍸ire mission questline dedicated to Jabba the Hutt and the palace is a location you can freely enter, Bib Fortuna will undoubtedly play a major🌺 role in advising Jabba during the dialogue interactions with Kay Vess.

Han In Carbonite

As teased, Han Solo will be in Star Wars Outlaws in his frozen carbonite form tucked away at Jabba's Palace. Since the trailer reveals Kay getting pretty up close to Han, it tells you that Jabba's place is likely to be a fully explorable and interactive location in the game.

Han won't be rescued until the opening of Return of the Jedi, but Princess Leia and Lando Calrissian are a key part of that plan, especially the latter character putting on a disguise and infiltrating Jabba's Palace. Hopefully, we get to see the plan to free Han set in motion.
