Update 29/09 18:20 GMT: Sony has responded to queries regarding the takedown, , "As part of normal business, we delist assets with licensed music when the licenses expire." However, the trailer is still available on other YouTube channels, so it doesn't seem that copyright holders are actively seeking to have the video removed.

Original report:

It's no secret that the remake of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wars: Knights of the Ol🅘d Republic that was announced back in 2021 has been having a tough time of it. The game has reportedly gone through several development challenges, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:as well as a change of studios, and Embracer Group CEO Lars Wingefors dodging questions about the game's current state has done little to inspire confidence in fans.

It now seems as though another nail has been pounded into the game's coffin, as fans of the title have noticed that . While the trailer can still be found thanks to those who have uploaded it themselves, the first official trailer uploaded by PlayStation appears to have been delisted, which is not a good sign for a title that is in development hell and is being backed by a publisher that's trying to make up lost costs.

To make matters even worse, it also appears as though PlayStation has attempted to scrub any mention of the Knights of the Old Republic remake from its official Twitter account as well. A Twitter user called Crusader II Elessar noticed that tweets mentioning the game that have been cached in Google and show up on the Wayback Machine have been deleted fairly recently. These aren't exactly the actions of a platform holder that is confident about a game's quality.

While nothing has been confirmed, fans seem pretty certain this this is all leading up to the game's eventual cancellation. It was revealed earlier this year that publisher Embracer recently lost out on a $2 billion deal at the last moment, which has forced the company into cancelling projects, shutting studios such as 🤡Saints Row maker Volition, considering the sales of other studios like Gearbox, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:laying off pote🌠ntially🌜 thousands of workers.

With the sheer amount of development troubles that the game has reportedly undergone, coupled with the publisher's financial woes, it wouldn't be too surprising if the Knights of the Old Republic remake is next on the chopping block. There's still no sign of the game getting a release date any time soon, and games that stay in development as long as this one has tend to cost quite a lot of money.

Let's hope not, as the game has been due a remake for quite a while, and the effects that a cancellation of this scale would have on developers like Saber Interactive and Aspyr Media would likely be catastrophic. It's not looking good though, and Embracer needs to gives us an update on the title sooner rather than later.
