Summary
- Droids in Star Wars can be menacing but also undeniably cute, like Chopper the chaos gremlin.
- Mouse droids, maintenance workers, and BD-1 are among the legitimately cutest droids in the galaxy.
- Some droids, like R2-KT and QT-KT, have bittersweet origins but remain super cute and special.
Cuteness is absolutely not confined to organic beings. We humans have a real knack for finding completely inanimate objects cute, after all. So it's lucky that droids, the resident inanimate objects in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wars, are already adorable by default (debatably).

168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Star Wars: The 10 Best Droids
Learn all about the best droids from the Star W🌸ars ser💮ies!
Droids can admittedly also be some of the most menacing beings in the galaxy. But it can be argued that even the bad oneꦐs are cute, like the murderous battle droid Mister Bones. Admit it, you went "aww" when you heard that name. But aside from death boy there, which droids in Star Wars are legitimately the cutest?
10 🔥 Mouse Droids
Do Mouse Droids Dream Of Electric Cheese?
Look, some droids are just doing their jobs. It's not their fault if they were built by a fascist regime. Enter the mouse droids, aka the MSE series, because a droid without a cheeky name is scarcely a droid at all.
These little buddies are all about maintenance and delivery, because when you're a little rolling box, your life aspirations are limited. But even right from their appearance in A New Hope with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Chewbacca scaring one away, their cute little beeps make you wish ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚthey wer🍷e less angular because they need hugs, darn it.
9 Chopper
Cutest War Criminal In The Galaxy
C1-10P aka Chopper is cute in that chaos gremlin kind of way. We all have that one friend, though they probably don't have Chopper's body count. Seen primarily in Star Wars Rebels, Chopper is the bridge that connects family entertainment with the horrors of war in the Star Wars universe.
Chopper will hack into systems and take out a whole enemy base without a second thought. But he's also just a little guy. Just look at those grabby arms he's got on that squad droid chassis. He's like Hera's own little metal Danny DeVito.
8 Pip
Ever Wanted To Befriend A Swiss Army Knife?
The darker and more mysterious story of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wars: The Acolyte may have dampened the potential for cuteness. But we got two little guys, Bazil and Pip. Bazil is fuzzy. A♎dorable, but unfortunately disqualified from the cute droid list. We follow rules here.

But Pip is a special case. He's Osha's little buddy and also a multitool, unlike 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:most droids in Star Wars which tend to self-propel. Being able to move by himself would have been helpful when Mae reset him to factory settings, but his little compact design and oddly expressive "face"🐻 at least stayed behind.
7 BB-8
Perfect For Belly Rubs Because He's All Belly
The fact that Star Wars managed to make a ball look expressive is an incredible feat. Everyone immediately fell in love with BB-8 even just from the promotional materials for Episode 7: The Force Awakens, and it's absurdly easy to see why.
The round cuddly shape and big round "eye" draw you in and the way BB-8 is filmed and moved just makes his personality pop. He gꦬives a thumbs-up, he can look panicked despite having no moving parts on his head, and he just sounds pleasant, like the teachers from Peanuts put through an amp.
6 D-O
Even Droids Can Respect Boundaries
Few droi꧅ds are as relatable as D-O, the scared little single-wheel buddy from Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker. He had a traumatic past, having previously been owned by a ruthless assassin, which you probably forgot because you forgot there was a ruthless assassin in this movie.
He quickly befriended BB-8, which is completely understandable, and was openly uncomfortable around humans, which is honestly just good sense. His polite utterance of "no thank you" when approached just feels brutally real. He deserves hugs, at least when he's ready.
5 T3-M4
The Proto Little Guy
The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Knights of the Old Republic games are now non-canon, which has tragically removed many seriously 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:cool ele🥀ments from the Star Wars universe. One of the lesser-mentioned aspects is the design of astromech droi🅠ds, looking far different from theౠ typical R2-D2 look we know and love.
T3-M4 is your main exposure to this "ancient" droid design, and it just works. The two legs out front just look neat, and its circular head just feels prime for pets. That's not to mention its adorably loyal personality. It would be nice if T3 could feel scritches.
4 B2EMO
He Probably Circles His Charging Station A Few Times Before Settling Down
Andor is probably the most grounded that Star Wars gets. But even then, it still dutifully included a faithful and adorable droid buddy. B2EM🌳O is the Andor family droid, and much like a typical family dog, he is just the most clingy li꧅ttle guy.

168澳♕洲幸运5开奖网: 10 Andor Easter Eggs You Might Have Missed
Andor is an amazing show that stands on its own. However,𒀰 there are still easter eggs referencing the wider Star Waꦺrs universe.
B2EMO is clearly meant to be inspired by every dog you've ever loved. He talks in a stutter and doesn't understand when Cassian has to go away. Despite the droid himself also being one of the most grounded droids in the series, he's still ridiculously charming, and you know you want to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:give him a hug.
3 R2-KT And QT-KT 🦩 𝄹
A Wish Come True
This droid is a bittersweet case. While technically two droids, R2-KT and QT-KT are essentially from the s🎶ame source and serve the same purpose. They were crea🍃ted to fulfill the wish of 7-year-old brain cancer patient Katie Johnson, who wanted nothing more than a droid to watch over her. These super cute pink ladies are the result.
Created in 2002 by the R2-D2 Builders Club, R2-KT (eventually replaced by the slightly different QT-KT) stayed by Katie's bedside to her last days and continued to visit children's hospitals after. QT-KT also joined the animated series 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wars: The Clone Wars while R2-KT can even be seen♈ in The Force Awakens.
2 🃏 Pit D🐷roids
Still Probably A Better Deal Than Your Mechanic
It's fascinating what the proper sound effects can do. Pit droids were already a great design when they were introduced in The Phantom Menace and continue to be so all the way to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. These little maintenance workers just look how you'd expect a helper robot to, but the sounds they make just elevate the whole thing.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - 8 Best Characters,⛦ Ranked
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor tells a layered and fantastic story, and iꦗts cast of ch🧔aracters elevates that beyond expectations.
Chirpy yet nasally beeps emanate from pit droids, making them sound like tiny vaudeville comedians. Their movements add to that, giving real Three Stooges energy without the problematic cultural references. But best of all, if you press their noses, they fold up into a tiny little bundle, perfect for carryin𒉰g around like a purse dog.
1 BD-1
Your Number One Buddy
If there was any doubt that cuteness could be a design choice in droids, look no further than BD-1. As soon as it was introduced in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, players were hopeless to its charms. Just look at th🗹ose little legs, and the little antennae, and the little everything.
BD-1 was tailor-made to appeal to players. It rides on Cal's shoulders like a cute little metal parrot, it's got golden retriever energy, and when 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cal gets an upgrade in Jedi: Survivor, it sits patiently next to him happily kicking its feet. The galaxy doesn't deserve this perfect cinnamon roll.

There's plenty of Pride to celebrate wiꦿth these phenomenal LGBTQ+ characterꦍs in the Star Wars universe.
