Star Wars Battlefront Owners Can Get Up To 20 Percent Off The Classic Collection

If this week's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Nintendo Direct proved anything, it's that despite an announcement regarding Nintendo's next console feeling imminent, the Switch still has a lot more to give. Among the laundry list of third-party games shown off during the showcase was the reveal that the original Star Wars Battlefront games have been re🔯vived and bundled together in the Classic Collection. Not just launching on Switch, but on all major platforms, and you can geꦉt the collection for less if you alreadꦫy own the games.

If you plan on buying the collection on Steam and you already have either of the original 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Battlefront games - the first of which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year - then a 20 percent discount should be applied at checkout. This offer only appears to be applicabl🎉e during the pre-order period, so make sure you take advantage of it through the links in the box below should you want to get the collection for considerably less.

This offer is only available to those who have either or both of the original Bat🍸tlefront games, released in 2004 and 2005 respectively, in their game libraries, not the newer Battlefront titles in 2015 and 2017.

The discount will bring the Classic Collection's price down to $28 from $35.01, and it appears to be available to players who own the games on Xbox too. If you plan on diving back into the games on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation and Switch, it's not all bad news. You can get a discount on those platforms too, just not one as hefty as the 20 percent cut for owners of the original games on Steam and Xbox. Anyone who pre-orders the game, regardless of platform or if they own the originals, will get the game for ten percent cheaper than those who buy it from its release day onwards.

There's been a little bit of backlash towards the full price of the collection, something Aspyr may well have expected and implemented the 20 percent discount in anticipation. Although not available on all current platforms, the original games are $10 each on Steam and the Classic Collection, for three times the price, arguably doesn't add a whole lot more. New characters, maps, and even though the old Steam games still support multiplayer, the Classic Collection's servers will naturally be a lot more active when the game launches on March 14.
