Summary

  • Monster High's next Skullector Series doll is Young-hee, the doll in charge of Red Light, Green Light in Squid Game.
  • The doll's design is based on Young-hee's look in the show and comes with a contestant 456 piggy bank accessory.
  • Young-hee's Skullector Series doll will cost $65 and be available to buy through Mattel Creations from October 25.

In case you didn't already know, Squid Game returns to Netflix this December for its second season. Seong Gi-hun returns to try and take down the syndicate running the murderous ga𓂃me show and, as far as I can tell from the trailers, ends up competing all over again. The creepy doll that oversaw Red Light, Green Light will also be back, not only in the show but also as a part of Monster High's 🐻Skullector Series.

The Skullector Series is a collection of Monster High dolls made in the image of some of the horror genre's most iconic characters. Launching with a Pennywise doll in 2020, the range now includes dolls based on Chucky, Beetlejuice, Jack and Sally fro♏m The Nightmare Before Christmas, and more. The 15-foot high Red Light, Green Light doll from Squid Game will join them on Oc✤tober 25, 2024.

Just to make sure there's no confusion, the doll in the show is꧒ 15 feet tall, not the Monster High version.

That's just in time for Halloween, and while you might argue Squid G🧸ame doesn't quite fit the Skullector Series bill, you'll likely change your mind once you've seen its Monster High design. Young-hee's (that's the name of the doll, did you know she has a name?) Skullector doll is wearing the ꧅same orange dress and yellow shirt combo that her 15-foot counterpart wears in the show, but it's the finer details and the accessories that come with it that make this Monster High addition special.

Squid Game's Young-Hee Is Coming To Monster High On October 25

Included with the doll is a piꦛggy bank accessory designed to look like the transparent one that hangs over the contestants during the first season of Squid Game. This one won't be filled with won, unfortunately, otherwise the doll would cost a lot more than $65. The neatest, and creepiest, detail of all, however, is that the doll's head can spin all the way around, just like the real Young-hee. Look closely at her eyes and you'll notice they're the same as the doll's in the show too, glowing red and primed to spot anyone moving so they can be executed and thus eliminated from the game.

Monster High Squid Game Young-Hee Doll

Young-Hee is the doll that oversees rounds of Red Light, Green Light in Squid Game, and she has joined Monster High's Skullector Series collection. Young-Hee's doll is wearing the same outfit as the doll in the show, has a contestant 456 piggy bank accessory, and her head spins all the way around like the real thing.

You can expect the hype for Squid Game season two to keep mounting between now and its debut on Netflix on December 26, 2024. Not only via the Skullector doll when it becomes available to buy through Mattel Creations on October 25, but also via better looks at Squid Game: Unleashed,🍌 🍷a video game based on the hit show that is slated to🎃 launch exclusively through the Netflix mobile app on the same day season two premiers.
