Spyro Reignited Trilogy Stone Hill

Stone Hill is likely your first official level in your Spyro the Dragon stint. Needless to say, it is a phenomenal introduction to Spyro's moveset, as well as what you can expect in future levels. It's not a large level, featuring condensed areas packed with enemies, gems, and dragons.

What makes it impressive is that it even has its own secrets that you will find if you're thorough. The perimeter around the level has one of the iconic thieves that you can chase for a Dragon Egg. Spyro Skelos Badlands

You can go through the entire level as Spyro and find some collectibles, but you'll notice that there are enemies and bone lizards out of reach. That's when you take control of Sgt. Byrd to open up the level in a completely new dimension. This level was repurposed for two characters at once, and the sheer talent that takes is impressive. It's also a somber, dreamlike level reminiscent of the first game.

6 Tree Tops

Spyro Tree Tops

Spyro the Dragon has some mechanics that didn't make the transition into future games. Among them is the supercharge pads (the supercharge was incorporated in the other two games, but not in the same way), which allow Spyro to run at high speeds and jump in the air to reach new areas.

Tree Tops is the level that takes this mechanic and pushes it to its very limit. You have to 𝔉run at top speeds, then jump and turn at the right times to get to every spot. There are some places that require aꦛn impressive amount of supercharge chains as well, making it one of the more difficult levels of the trilogy.

Once you free all six satyrs, you'll also have the option of completing a supercharge challenge, as well as an escort mission where you have to deal with the Earthshakers. Like many levels in Spyro 2, Fracture Hills repurposes its layout for multiple missions instead of just settling for a one-and-done affair.

Spyro Glimmer

Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage has an excellent introductory level. Glimmer introduces you to everything you'll need to know for your upcoming adventure, establishes the Riptocs as the villains, and has you meet the residents of Avalar for the first time.

Glimmer has plenty of secrets tucked away, and even has a small flight section that you can activate for even more varied gameplay. There is also a secret area in Glimmer that can't be accessed until you acquire an ability later in the game.
