Did we really need that many MCU suits?

Both movies are still a long time away, but Marvel fans will be delighted to learn that both versio💜ns of Spidey are coming back to the big screen. Both the MCU and animated movies series' have currently ended on cliffhangers, and we can't wait to see what happens next.

Spider-Man Swings Back Into Action In 2026 and 2027

Tom Holland's MCU Spider-Man has sort of got a fresh start. After breaking the multiverse in an attempt to save his identity, Spidey had to make the hard call and make absolutely everyone forget that he ever existed. Not a fingle friend or supe♔rhero colleague knows that Spider-Man ever existed, including MJ and Ned.

As for Miles in the Spider-Verse, after attempting to stop his canon event, Miles found himself being 🐻chased by Miguel O'Hara and a bunch of other Spider-Men across the multiverse. However, he finds himself in a mirror universe where the villains own everything and that universe's Miles is actually The Prowler.

While the Spider-Verse series will continue from where it was left off, the MCU versဣion has essentially received a soft reboot. With the current downward trend of the MCU, Disney will be hoping to hit it out of the park, especially since it will be building up to Avengers: Doomsday. The fresh start, or a Brand New Day is exactly what the movie series needed after the trilogy. We might get to see a new take on the MCU's Spidey.

As for why Beyond the Spider-Verse will be releasing so 🌄far into the future, producer Phil Lord and co-directors Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson said, "We know how important this⛎ franchise is to so many people around us. We just could not run it back. So, we decided we needed to take the time to make sure we got it just right. (thanks, )”
