Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a pretty polished game, but even the most perfect games can hide a nasty bug.
In a brutal act of depravity by the Tyranids, it seems as though players are accidentally bringing back bugs to the battle barge.
Because of this, players like Martinswesley9 and ImmersionAndy are being murdered on the battle barge, with no way of fighting back.

That's mostly because it's a lot of gorey fun, has a great campaign and is also very polished to boot, but it seems as though even the most polished games are hiding a nasty bug or two. In Space Marine 2's case, the term bug is corr♚ect in more than one sense.

Space Marine 2 players have one constant safe haven in the battle barge, the location that players visit after each mission or multiplayer game, where they can catch a quick breather. Unfortunately, it seems as though this safe haven has been infiltrated by the Tyranids, as some players are accidentally bringing bugs back to the battle barge af😼ter missions.

is one of the unlucky marines to have their safe space invaded, as they shared a clip of themselves getting completely battered by four 🌊Tyranids. In the clip, Martinswesley9 i♐s getting covered in Tyranid saliva, and unfortunately has to sit there and take it as there is no way to fight back on the battle barge.

Space Marine 2 Bug Keeps Bringing Tyranids Back To The Battle Barge

This problem isn't just Martinswesley9 though. has had theirඣ tranquil battle barge invaded, though this time by a single Tyranid. However, ImmersionAndy would have loved to have four smaller Tyranids to go up against, as a larger, more💫 deadly Lictor managed to sneak onto his battle barge.

In ImmersionAndy's video, we can see the Lictor slowly making its way toward the player, passing several surprisingly unbothered Space Marines. ImmersionAndy then flees to the dock before the Lictor blocks their route and begins beating the snot out of him. Again, because you can't attack on the battle barge, ImmersionAndy is eventually killed, and t🦹he Lictor disappears into the ceiling. The Emperor might need to get an exterminator.

Of co🐈urse, this looks to be a rather funny bug, and Martinswesley9 explains that the bugs followed them back to the battle bridge after they quit a trial early. We can probably expect this little issue to be resolved pretty soon, otherwise plenty of Space Marines might find themselves butchered before they're even deployed.
