Until Shadow was shown during the credits of Sonic The Hedgehog 2, it was starting to feel a little like Sega had left him behind. Not getting significant focus for the better part of 20 years, the character's revival throughout 2024 has been amazing to see and I hope it sticks beyond Sonic x Shadow and Sonic 3. If we all keep wearing our Shadow costumes into 2025 and beyond, we can make sure Sega never forgets about the hedgehog again.
