The game clearly pulls inspiration from a lot of different places. Most notably the original Sonic games, but as is plain to see, and has been pointed out by its creator, the game is also inspired by 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Donkey Kong Country.Created at a time when Nintendo and Sega were still bitter enemies, Donkey Kong Cou♌ntry is considered one of the best games in the series to this day, almost 30 years after it launched. However, a game that has clearly pulled from the iconic DK title like the one below might have been a little on the nose.
Donkey Kong Country isn't the only place from which OMinecraꦯftera pulled inspiration for Super Sonic System. The creator mentions in the comments that it was modeled after the Sega Saturn's style of ꧅game, and there's even a level that takes place on the Saturn logo. Had the first level, which is called Green Passageway, not been given a Donkey Kong filter, it also wouldn't have looked out of place in Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
