This isn't too surprising. The Sonic fanbase is a passionate bunch, even more so when we get a win. There was a desperate bid to get Sonic Frontiers the Players' Voi🗹ce ൩prize at The Game Awards when that game impressed both critics and fans. Then, there was widespread joy after Sonic X Shadow Generations launched to even ღmore positive reviews across the 💞board.

In Sonic 3's case, ꦡit's also a surprisingly faithful adaptation of what is largely considered the best game in the series, Sonic Adventure 2. And considering fans have been desperate for both more Shadow and something Sonic Adventure-related, it's no surprise that they're eager to boast about Sonic 3's success. I just hope that D🍃isney's social media manager doesn't have too much of a headache.

We'll have to wait and see how Sonic 3 performs once the dust settles, but right now, it looks like Paramount is feeling good about its chances.
