Tubbz are collectible ducks based on the likenesses of some of the most famous video game characters of all time, and even though Solid Snake and others from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Metal Gear Solid have previously been given the Tubbz treatment, the series' duck range is expanding, but only by a little bit as the new additions are teeny tiny.
The four new additions to the Metal Gear Solid Tubbz collection were revealed by the range's creators Numskull this week. Solid Snake, Revolver Ocelot, Genome Soldier, and Gray Fox were the first characters from Metal Gear Solid to get Tubbz, so it only makes sense that the same quartet be the first to be turned into Mini Tubbz. The key difference is they're two inches tall rather than the usual three and a half, making them far smaller than a standard Tubbz.
Tubbz Has Turned Three More Sonic Characters 🍎Into Rubber Ducks
One 🌳of Tubbz's biggest collections just got even big🐬ger.
Since Mini Tubbz are smaller, they're also cheaper - just $8.99 whereas a normal Tubbz duck is more than twice that price costing $19.99. All four of the Metal Gear Solid Mini Tubbz are and are expected to ship before the end of August 2024. They also appear to be first-edition versions of the ducks, meaning they come in their own personal bathtub rather than a standard box.
Introducing Metal Gear Solid's Mini Ducks
Each of the four ducks is unmistakable even if you don't know the Metal Gear character roster religiously, but as was the case with the full-size versions of these same Tubbz ducks, the Genome Soldier is the pick of the four. Not only because its mask has been modified to make room for a bill, but also because it comes with the iconic red exclamation mark perched on its head. Synonymous with the series, the red punctuation point signifies that as enemy has spotted them.

Metal Gear Solid's Genome Soldier was turned into a Tubbz rubber duck, and now that rubber duck has been turned into an even smaller rubber duck. The Mini Tubbz is identical to the full-size one, just significantly smaller as it's only two inches tall.
Even though it's been almost nine years since the last new installment in the Metal Gear Solid series, Snake has been getting quite a bit of attention lately due to 2023's collection of the original games, and the upcoming release of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Snake Eater is a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 and as it stands will still be released before the end of 2024. There's a strong chance its arrival is pushed into 2025, though.
