Father of Zღeus, Cronus is known as Saturn in the Roman pantheon, and it's debatable which name is better known. Either way, as one of the most important figures in these mythologies, Cronus would be an excellent addition. We already have father versus son occurring in many of the pantheons, but Cronus could elevate that to three generations of conf𓂃lict.

9 Fujin

Let Them Be Together

Fujin, which translates as Wind God, is - you guessed it - the Japanese god of the wind. Often depicted as a gree♍n-skinned humanoid wearing leopar🌸d print and carrying a bag of wind, he has a distinct visual style that would be fun to see in Smite 2.

Fujin is usually depicted alongside Raijin, god of lightning, wh𝓰o is already in Smite. It seems inevitable that the second half of this pairing will be added at some stage, and the enhanced graphics of Smite 2 would be a great time to display impressive wind effects.

8 Amon

Feeling Blue

Revered as the King of the Gods in Egyptian mythology, Amon would be a perfect addition to🦹 Smite 2. Not only does he fill an important role 🎐in the lore of the Egyptian pantheon, but he's a god with a clear kit available.

His name translates to Hidden One, and he 🅘was often depicted as blue to s💯ymbolize invisibility. Smite already has killers who can make use of stealth mechanics, like Loki, so it's well within the realm of possibility.

7 Mordred

The Traitor

Smite added its first figure from Arthurian legend in 2019, King Arthur himself. Since that time they've included Lancelot, Merlin, and Morgan Le Fay. One of the Arthuri🌸an figures still missing though is Mordred, known for his betrayal of King Arthur.

Often confused with the Black Knight, Mordred is sometimes depicted as King Arthur's nephew or illegitimate son. Whatever version of the story that Smite 2 chooses to use, Mordred is too important🐽 to t𓂃he Arthurian Legend pantheon to exclude.

6 ☂ Yog-Sothoth

The All-In-One

It came as a shock when Cthulhu was added to Smite in 2020, belonging to the Great Old Ones pantheon. As exciting an addition as C𒅌thulu was, he is still the o𒅌nly member of that pantheon in the game, making it the smallest one.

A new Great Old One is long overdue, with Yog-Sothoth being the obvious candidate. Popular amo꧅ng fans, Yog-Sothoth would have community support. However, it is meant to be as big compared to Cthulhu as Cthulhu is to humanity. Considering Cthulhu is already mammoth in size in Smite, that could prove tricky.

5 Perun

Slavic Thunder

In Slavic mythology, Perun was the highest of all the gods. God of the sky and thunder, he is sometimes confirmed to his Greek counterpart, Zeus. Given that the Slavic Pantheon only has two entries in Smite, f♑illing it out for Smite 2 would be great t♛o see.

There are no shortage of candidates, but filling a pantheon out from the top is an approach that would make sense. He would make an excellent Guardian or Warrior, two roles the S꧟lavic pantheon is missing.

4 ဣ Papa Legba

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

The Voodoo Pantheon is popular among Smite players for its distinct visual style, although it could use more entries. That's where Papa Legba comes in, one of the most prominent figures in Voodoo mythology, notably portrayed by 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the late Lance Reddick in American Horror Story.

Papa Legba is the facilitator of communication between the living and the dead, able to speak any language. Also depicted with a particular fondness for dogs, it would be i𝓰nteresting to see what sort of kit the Smite 2 devs would spin up for him.

The Yoruba Pantheon in ♐Smite is in dire need of more gods, and there's no better candidate than Shango. God of Lightning and Justice he fills a distinctly different role than the existing Yoruba deities, with lots for the developers to work with.

Known for his control over lightning, ability to spit fire, and wielding axes, h꧂is kit practically designs itself. With such a clear path to his abilities available, it's something of a surprise the developers haven't already included him.

Any version of Baldur included in Smitওe 2 is certain to be starkly different from his God Of War version, the traditional depiction is considerably les🌄s aggressive and crude than the one Kratos clashed with. Even still, there's enough recognition for the name that fans would be excited to see him join the lanes of Conquest.
